  • I'm at all this php and apache stuff and would like to learn how to create a web site...

I already registered to a free webhosting site that supports all these and I also wanna know how to use drupal...

I would like to ask on what to install first is it the php or the apache...

please message me on how to step by step install sucessfully the drupal, php, and apache

  • just use apache friends

    THANK YOU!

  • great tutorial!!

  • Ok this is a great tutorial, but we know what we need to left click

  • why would someone even try installing php or something more complex if they dont have the basic knowledge of "left-clicking" ??

  • whats the difference between run and save a file i dont get it?

  • @ilemonni 'Run' will run the program as soon as it has downloaded. 'Save' will store the file in your downloads folder so you can install it later.

  • installed xampp BUT ran script php test script in and says its not installed on the server!!!!! whats wrong help!

  • sirs, i dl xampp multiple times but when i run the script to check if php is running/ no/ what am i doing wrong??

  • for windows 7 how do i get past the access denied message when making changes in notepad?

  • i just get so excited to learn php.i'll make this as a business=))

  • @FFWDEntertainment I have the same problem did you ever figure it out???

  • @ToysCam2Bed go to Program Files > Right-click the Apache folder > Configurations > Security > Edit

Then change the security settings so all users have full control.

  • When i try to add that index.php it wont let me save :(

  • For personal test servers, I recommend WAMP. Otherwise, if you're installing this on a server an server intended for actual use, it's highly recommended you know more about setting up PHP. There's many options to learn about, some security related.
