@jacnal It takes years to get hair like her... My hair is about 3/4 of what she has and It took my 2 1/2 years to get it to that length. My hair is very fast growing, but some people aren't as lucky. Plus, I oil my hair everyday with coconut oil. And I trim the ends every month.

I coconut oil and olive oil every night scalp and length combb gently. i wash it once a week or every four days in the winter. Pre poo with coco oil. only shampoo at scalp and condition after then deep condition and air dry. It imparative protective style 2 protect ends. Which is why we always braid.

A good diet and vitamins, frequent trims to remove old damaged ends, avoiding coloring or heat styling the hair and just leaving it alone. My hair is down to my waist and it's virgin (meaning no color or bleach) and I know the only reason I can grow it out this long and still have it look soft and shiny is because I leave it alone!
