The system was designed and developed in post war France.
Not usa, not china, not japan, not even in hungary.
An earlier version of this suspension with the SAME spheres was used from 1955 in the Citroen DS. That was designed by Paul Magès, a man who had no formal technical training. The citroen DS has 5 height levels and stays at those heights no matter how much weight is in the car. the suspension is extremely comfy. i know, i have one :)
The French always surrenders unconditionally during a war so this technology is likely surrenders unconditionally (fails unconditionally).
The US have better technology because we always win.

Everything about the C6 spells excelence, quality & panache but I will never buy one as they only ever do a four door. I prefer 5 doors.

But where was this suspension system designed and developed?
tri400 3 years ago
I'd say it was designed in France as well... At least the previous systems were.

doesn't dual wishbone in the front limit the turning radius?
monkeyboy866 4 years ago
I have a C5 with steel springs and double wishbone suspension and it has a very good turning circle. I'm no expert so I don't know if that's typical.
lee23404 3 years ago
should allow for more, its fwd that ruins your turning circle
