Is flamed top so it cant be 1000 series (1000 series have no top, i own a 1570), is mahogany bodied and flame maple topped so in any case it would be a RG3520 (like models in production). But is a custom, actually has JEM neck and plain frets and the fretboard is ebony made (instead of rosewood). At this level of endorsement ibanez made a guitar for you with the available production hardware. The only obligatory thing is to read ibanez in the headstock

I do am curious about the people who like the latest record, if they also listened to the older records before hearing this one. Because its an OK record if you don't know the old standards if you ask me. The guitar parts have just gone down big time.. I cannot really speak I listened the record twice in total.. and.. there was not one WOW moment, and with Silence for example.. its like 14 WOW moments.. each song sooooo goooood....

But NO ONE!! can say that the guitar parts have improved, all the solo's ... woeshhh gone.. there was in total 1 solo in the entire record who sounded a bit like.. but didn't even came close to Jani's work. Now I am not saying that the guitar is the most important instrument in a band (even though as a guitar player I do think like that haha) but Jani really made some work in those old records. next message

And in this new record, wel Elias can play the old once's I have heard and seen him do it. But I don't know.. Jani had this thing which I as a musician totally dig! This super smooth style and sick way of playing. Not even to mention that he really made some hard solo's and also tunes that aren't the standard sweep and slide work like most bands do. Thats what made Sonata for me special, but that element is totally gone now..

Last thing, I don't think that anyone can say, for sure, that the guitar standards have been the same. I see so many Sonata fans nowadays just heaping so much praise onto Elias, saying that he is a much better player. I would say about half the Sonata fans on youtube are like that, or almost half. They're mad the REAL fans of Sonata haven't sold out, like they (new Sonata fans) have.

I'm like fuck off man, I wasn't even talking about Elias. U know what, I do think that Elias is a good player, but I prefer Jani.

I can play the sweeps and just about the whole bit except the beginning at 1:11. If you have the guitar pro version (i know im a nub) its on the A then D then E string (all a half step down of course) I watch him play it here but I cant seem to find how why he's playing so far up the neck and what he's tapping at 1:12. feels bad man

This guy is an amazing player, ive just never been a fan simply because of his style of metal, I enjoy Alexis style alot better because it seems heavier, and just as technically talented. Theyre probably deadlocked for talent, but Jani probably plays better live because he doesnt live off booze.

I wish in this video they had his guitar alot louder, because then you could hear all of his sweeps in their magnificience.
