I was studio (stage) manager at south bank studios,where the notorious swalk video was shot,it took( 5 days,set build&shoot).i remember the girls dancing topless(closed set), they had to dance outside the studio being hosed down with cold water(3am in the morning).the drummer is Andrew ridgleys brother ..brings back some great memories,thanks for the posting

@NinjaJedi11 the whole NWOBHM movement was heavily influenced by the punk explosion of '76. Remember this was a self produced single, and it was the punks of a few years earlier who blazed the whole home / self production trail. Lots of these early NWOBHM show a huge punk vibe in the sound, production and even in the packaging

This is a good song but I can tell you why it failed: the singer sounds too soft - he lacks the brutality of early-era Metallica vocals, the melody is decent but it meanders and lacks the powerful direction that a hit track requires, the guitar solo is too cookie cutter, and most of all - there's no overarching hook. The guitar sounds like rehashed early AC/DC rhythm guitar w/ a hair metal overlay. That said, I still like it and it's 10000% better than most tripe out there today. Cheers
