That one gentlemen who said that Christianity helped him saddens me. The inherent mental issues that he has is awful.. The only way that he could escape one controlling cult is basically to join a different one. I find it so sad when people have this need to be controlled to feel safe.
The United States was founded as a secular government, but yet they fund many churches and such. So in a way, we ARE forced to pay for churches (through out taxes).
Some people require a religion to live. They can't face the fact that we created ourself, and that there's nothing out there but what we can see hear and feel.
