    BRILLIANT SHORT FILM :D

  • incredible. just amazing.

  • @nickwrocks1 thanks a lot :D hope to do another this year

  • @platuner u need to watch the first davros story then witch has the best doctor the fourth tom baker its one of the best dr who story's ever its called genesis of the daleks

  • very well done

  • for 3 hours it was excellent. Loved the set and thought it was shot very well. My only criticism is that the script is a little weak in places and uses words and phrases that I wouldnt necessarily associate with Davros. Other than that it was really good.

  • WOW

  • This was even *better* than all the real Dr. Who stuff!

  • I can't imagine why three people didn't like this, it's a very well crafted piece and Davros looks remarkable.

  • Excellent piece. Very professionally put together. Love the sinister, gothic, behind the sofa hidden menace, that has been lost in so many of the more recent episodes. A revealing and quite chilling exploration of Davros' motives and reasoning. Davros' voice and intonation was spot on too. Well done.

  • Awesome. Where, chronologically speaking, does this take pace?

  • I'm looking forward to when we see the rest of this at the cinema! :)

  • Well played sir, very professional. Looks like it came straight out of a high budget movie!

  • brilliant!!!!! where on earth did u get that mask and where can i get one !!!!!!!!!!

  • This is INCREDIBLE! Well done!

  • where did you get the mask from

  • Still is extremely stunning. What is Davros' blue head piece made from?

  • Erm, how the hell did you achieve that??? Stunned......

  • Defrost? I'd suggest a microwave ;D

  • THE best Davros was Terry Molloy....YOU have captured his portrayal Exactly!

Its a Stunning piece of work......... I need MORE !!!!!

  • @GARCOOPY sorry i gotta disagree Michael Wisher was the best davros, tho i think that might be because he was a major character in the story plot and therefore had time to develop his character

  • Whoever disliked this Is a timelord

There are not enough stars I can give for this superb film well done lads

  • that was the best 9:26 homemade doctor who movie i have ever seen!

It was TOTALLY professional !!!! 5000000 out of 10

Amazing! I really wish i could have a dovros mask and chair

Do you know where i could get hold of one????????????

    WhoEleven

  • Excellent work.

  • Still amazing, so did you make your own props, Davros' chair and mask?

  • Dude!!! That was awesome!!!! :)

  • amazing, well done,EXCELLENT!

  • outstanding effort

  • Outstanding work!

  • Wonderful mimcry of Terry Molloy in this. A lovely homage.

  • Amazing film but.. i did like the bald actor .. he looked too simple to be building daleks.. sorry if that is you..

  • The BBC should take a look at this work - outstanding.

  • You have done what RTD couldn't!, this is the modern version of the classic series!.

  • Wow superb stuff!! I could have watched this all evening if it had been long enough!! Great work, please make more lol :)

  • Brilliant!

  • Nobody in their right mind would disagree that this is Canon.

  • bloody fantastic

  • lol Wow! Excellent work from everyone involved! I'm impressed!!

  • this is amazing :D

  • These Daleks look so much better than the new plastic ones!

  • Molto-Bene! Amazing! You Are One Heck Of A Genious! How The Hell Are You Not Working For BBC ?!

  • Excellent, bloody brilliant! Davros always had one weakness though... never kill threats right away, must give.. lengthy... megalomaniacal.. monologues!

  • this is brilliant, i love it! best creation i've seen on youtube

  • really well made, i enjoyed it. are you going to make anymore?

  • Okay I wasn't expecting that. That was amazing, no more than amazing! I just can't get my head around how good this is. Well anyhow it was great. Oh and by the way someone missed the like button.

  • Where did you bget the daleks from?

  • i do not know what to say this is just simply awsome the one dislike doesnt know talent when it hits him in the nuts do

you work for the bbc if not then you should show this clip to them for the new mat smith doctor who

5 stars keep up the good work

  • Wow this is just amazing work

  • I am beyond impressed... you have managed to perfectly capture the essence of Davros and his evil in this short clip. Its so beautifully done it looks genuine.

  • Amazing guys for a fan film fantastic, i would like to see more, i would love to be involved in something like this

  • Was this a fan-fic or a deleted scene from the dvd? Seriously, it looks like an alternate ending to the first episode of Doctor Who.

  • pure genius

  • This is effing awesome!!! I am a giant doctor who fan and this is truely the best fanfilm I've seen in absolutely AGES!!!!!!!!

  • that was great, a brilliant bit of work, well done

  • menuda muerda de peli no

  • a very well put together film

  • Absolutly fantastic!

  • Nicely done, but I would have liked to see a little action. The new series, IMHO, has too much action. But this was too little.

  • I...just saw...a proper little dalek...in a fan production.

    ..wow.

  • WOOOWEEE!

  • wow really excellent

  • Very well done, absolutely stunning. I have watched many fan films but i have to say you are one of the best!

  • Brilliant film. Wished there was more of it. SFX fantastic. Acting superb. In respect of the dalek speech - excellent voice over dubbing as the operator obviously had to speack the lines then have them dubbed later by someone else.

  • Awesome job, lads. Wicked quality from start to finish.

Does this story take place leading up to the Time War?

  • awesome video

  • One of the best fan films i've seen!! Great Work! One question though, howd you manage to get a hold of a new Dalek??

  • excellent video the best I've seen in ages

  • this is really good^^ the voice acting of Davros was done very well and it shows some of the ideas of how the new design of the Dalek came to be^^ very well done^^

  • superb stuff - really enjoyed it

  • Great stuff, you should be proud!

  • is this how the solen earth happened

  • This is one of my favourite fanfilms of the last few years - a brilliant production, well-written, showcasing what can be achieved on a small set with nothing more than a couple of actors, some background props, and a bit of CGI magic.

Kudos especially to your Davros, who really captured Michael Wisher's performance - and to those who made the Davros costume/chair and the Dalek.

    Powerful stuff!

  • beyond cool

  • total class, superb job, more more more!!!

  • This is brilliant!!!!! Great job!

  • Brilliant!Simon Peter-bowling made an excellent Davros too. Great effort. Thanks

  • Amazing work guys.

Makes me wish that they had kept Terry Molloy in the new series. They made a big mistake!!

Look forward to seeing more of your work

  • Love the Davros

  • whoa awesome!

  • simply amazing you should work with the bbc

  • That was incredible for a fan film. Very accurate and impressive acting. Props were amazing. Great stuff, well done :)

  • Cheers thanks, Will be good to do some more.

  • @Cyberrob Was the heartbeat monitor a downloadable thing on an iPad?

  • @captain0ldy0da no i created the monitor video in after effects

  • @Cyberrob Wow, excellent job! What about for the rotating Dalek hologram? Was that an actual projection because I noticed it on the Confidential?

  • @captain0ldy0da 3d model spinning against a black background physically projected yep

  • Absolutely stunning I think you used to go to my school (St Aidans) I remember you popping into Ms Carter's class once when I was in Year 7.

Oh and BTW don't you work in the Toy & Computer shop in the town?

  • @powerhousechipmunk23

yeah i used to go to St. Aidans,

Im at Sunderland Uni at the moment but i do work in the toy shop on my days off,

  • Fanfilm conquer and destroy!

    Great work.

  • The guy playing Davros is better than the new guy. What I never understood though was why Davros would give the Daleks plungers but himsel a robot hand.

  • Superb piece of work. Congrats to the team!

  • Unbelievable- well done. A stunning performance by Davros- have you got Molloy under there???

  • wooow ...im lost for words, so ill steel one from some one else "fantastic"

  • also this is neil...

  • haha i remember how long it took him to flick that switch...

  • HOLY FUCK IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!!! After so long of waiting! If it wasn't for the credits I would ask how you got Terry Molloy and how you got to work with the BBC :D

  • that was class

  • Very good - excellent acting and shooting effects top notch - A Fan made masterpiece!

  • this is brilliant, the most professional fan production ever!

    Congrats to you

  • oh, lovely work!

  • Give us a plug in the FBP! Hehe.

  • @lukepietnik we will

  • Truly the BEST Davros Video ive seen on YouTube in absolutely ages !!!! well done Lads !!!!! .

    10/10 .

    Jason .

  • This is a fantastic video, the story is like revelation of the daleks and genisis of the daleks, its brillent, and that davros is spot on! its like terry's davros,i dont know who's better but i know that davros is awsome!

  • This is possibly the best video on Youtube. It doesnt feel like a fan project. It both looks and feels totally authentic. I guess from the davros design that your a terry molloy man, which is awesome. Although Julian Bleach was good, I think that Terry Molloys energy was totally malevolent and it was great to see that again in your vid. Your elevated dalek looked better than alot of who episodes. Tell Davros/ Simon, I want to contact his agent. Lol. 5 billion stars (i'll have to settle for five)

  • wow!!!! o_O!!!

  • Very good. A noticeable step up in production values from most fan made productions.

  • Too awesome for words :D

  • Bowling really is a brilliant Davros!

  • WOW really good video. So pro! Stuff id dream of doing. regretfully lacking the skill and funds thus far tho lol..Would love to use the voice for our stop motions we make on solidsnakeprime501. looks us up

  • Impressive! Amazing!

    Well done, Rob!

  • Who are these people? millionaires or something? Where did they get the money for this kind of production?

It's a shame that it feels like the new series & not the classic. But thats all I can think of as improvements!

  • Very good stuff, I say worth the wait

  • That was a work of genius!

Awesome performances all round, great visuals, and great costumes and props.

    Kudos

  • umm...WOW! Perfection...sheer perfection! Davros, Dalek, all of it is absolutely flawless! I am extremely pleased that I found this, it's one of the most BRILLIANT pieces of fan filming I have ever had the priveledge to see. Marvelous work, sir, simply marvelous! Please Please Please think about doing more Who stuff, Youtube needs a bloke like you!

    -Chris

  • absolutely fantastic. best fan film ever made

  • excellent

On pdf someone is making a imperial NSD , it would be so awesome to see you make another video and use that :D

  • that was amazing so well editted you must be so proud of this it is brilliant

  • Creepy stuff...

excellent work, I enjoyed every second. Sets up a nice prelude to the Time War =D

  • this is very well edited, and very well put together, well done.

however, i would say that davros does seem to ramble on a bit at the end, and it eventually got a little repetitive

  • Brilliant work! :) Keep it up

  • woah tht was utterly amazing!!!!! loved it all... brilliant dalek and brilliant davros! :) x

  • Very impressive work. You've appreciated how important good lighting is. Excellent sound and music too. Enjoyed it alot.

  • Amazing!!!

  • That was really excellent. Loved the proformances, the script, the editing, the cgi work, the music as well as the directing but I thought the lighting/camera person (whoever that is) should get special praise becouse it just looks fantastic.

If i had to critisise my only complaint would be that Davros went on a bit at the end. Was this where you thought you needed more shots? but this is such a small niggle.

    in a word Brilliant!

  • thanks :)

ha well its my little handy work in the directing, lighting and main camera work so once again thanks

i couldnt agree more with you about the angles, there were about 15 angels planned on paper which i didnt get round to cause we lost 2 hours of recording time.

  • This is just amazing. Brilliant works guys.

  • @Cyberrob Fantastic movie mate 5/5. One question, how did you get Davros's voice to sound so authentic?

  • @wilkoman3 Hey thanks for the compliment.

The actor who played Davros is very good at mimicking Terry molloys davros. all i did was add a modulation to the voice in the edit.

  • Damn youtube wouldn't let me correct my last post *is annoyed*, but yes anyway, I've been waiting to see this for a long time and I think the wait has been worth it, this an absolutely brilliant artistic achievement and I thoroughly enjoyed ever second of it!, I have to congratulate all this involved in this production, you've all done a marvellous job!, So well done guys!, I look forward to more like this from you guys!!!

  • Excellent work. LOVE Davros in this. Music works very well..

  • A delight!

  • Amazingly done!!

  • The most Epic of Wins. I loved every second; a massive congratulations to all involved :-)

  • Absolutely wonderful.

  • Thanks Rob, that was deffo worth the wait. Congrats to all involved. Keep up the sterling work mate.

  • Outstanding. The production values are equal to the new series, how you managed that I don't know.

  • This is excellent -- Davros and The Dalek are spot on!

  • Brilliant. I'm glad this is finally out there Rob, I think all involved should be congratulated for their efforts.

  • @lukepietnik

Top stuff Luke, this is easily some of your best writing to date.

  • Haha, cheers Richy. If I'm honest, there are things I'd change dialogue wise if I were to re-draft it. Why the @? Lol.

  • @lukepietnik Youtube's gone all Twitter with the reply system! At least, I think that's what it is. It comes up when you click reply.

Looking forward to sitting down and doing some more scrawling with you around christmas time now =]

  • Yeah, hopefully I'll stop lazing around and finish a couple of scripts, and we can do some scribbles.

  • This is excellent. Better than any of the special features that appear on the classic DVDs.

  • Nice one.

  • amazing work mate - every second was brilliant!

  • Now that was Fantastic!!!!!!!

So its placed shorlty after Remembrance eh? Good call. Ive always wondered how the came around again. Afer this, surley Prisoner of the Dalkeks would take place after, then the Time War?

Its a Fantastic film here. Its brillaint. Luke has done well writing it, while your Dalek voices and efforted work has gone into so much detail is perfect. Brillaint!!!!!!!!!!

Your Dalek propis very well made too!!!! Was it built buy a certain person or bought?

    5 stars

  • well the Dalek was made by a friend of mine, i made the mutant and i basically found bits and bobs for the lab table. and my Girlfriend kindly bought me a real surgical kit :P

The davros chair was made for the 2005 Stage show Trial of Davros

  • Really!!!! Fantastic!!! Nice to know. Its no that famous a stageplay but it has a small regard in the history of Doctor Who anyway.

Well done once again!!!! Its very good. I was just wondering. I take it you too belive that there was more of Davros in remembrance than just his head? i bet that was some cybernetic replacement so davros wouldnt be picked off by his Daleks once again because he looked more human. A head is more Dalek to them than anything.

  • I reckon, as you say, sometime after 'Terror Firma' or, if that's not canon, 'Remembrance', he was rescued from the Daleks, possibly by the scientist we see here, or a group of them, and they re-built his previous form, to his specifications. Thus the metal hand.

  • Epic Win! Your Terry Molloy Davros was brilliant! The makeup and special effects were very nice, too. Well done, sir!

  • Fantastic Work!!!! Have been looking forward to this for ages, and it does NOT disappoint!!! Well done again, can't wait to see some more!!!!

  • very good mate totally perfect , it had a veri eery path that i believe has very been seen in doctor who to this extent and it let to basically the time war so i cant praise you enough , utterly amazing

  • Wow!

    That was amazing work!

So was that completely a practical Dalek? Or was it CG at some points?

The Dalek and Davros voices were excellent. You can definitely give Terry Molloy and Nick Briggs a run for their money.

  • what about julian bleach ?? hhaa joke , this was truly amazing

  • This Davros felt/was presented much more in common with the manner in which Terry Molloy played Davros, far more creepy, dedicated, obsessed.

Julian Bleach's Davros was more fanatical and mad.

  • i deffinatly prefer the molloy davros as a personal appearance but wishers was more on top of things way way before any one else

  • GREAT! Very high quality video! I love it!

  • bravo this is fantastic cant wait to see if u do any more u should be very proud of yourselves

  • amazing loved it cant wait for next part

tell me theres a next part please
