SEALs get beat up in training, freeze to death on Kodiak Island in artic training in only shorts, get 4 hours of sleep the whole week in hell week, and almost every SEAL breaks a bone in BUD/S. US army SF like the airborne or rangers train more for direct action in large groups of soldiers.

@Metalmuscian1 I appreciate that you want to join the military, specially the rangers, but I´m soory to tell you that war is not cool, most of your time will be spent on training, and maybe if you engage in combat it wont take more than 5 minutes, fire fights are quite short.
And is not the same as in films, if you are joining its because you love our country not because war is cool!! BECAUSE IT ISN´T.

SEALs have proven themselves time and time again in Nam, Somolia, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan in everything from assasinating al-Quida officials to saving hostages off the coast of Somolia, to traing guerrilla fighters to free themselves in Iraq, they've seen it all. SEALs get beat up in training, freeze to death on Kodiak Island in artic training in only shorts, get 4 hours of sleep the whole week in hell week, and almost every SEAL breaks a bone in BUD/S. SEALs are tough, and I'm sure the SAS and SEALs don't argue who's better and this is a SEAL video, so show respect for the SEALs and SAS ain't any better or any less than SEALs, they are equal.

Also, Osama said he wouldn't be taken alive, he said he'd blow himself into little itty bitty pieces with an explosive belt he always wears. So, if I was the SEAL, I wouldn't of tampered with him to see if he wears an explosive belt because due to his mental state, I think it's probible he wore a belt like that. Ok, if someone bombs your country and kills 2000 inocent people from your country, you think they wanted to take him alive?! If I was one of those SEALs, Iwould of shot him without thinking twice. Also, why would the SEALs want to take him alive? The only use Osama would of been if alive is to make him do humiliting things to himself to make a mockery of al-Quida. All SF Groups have their place and purpose, and what makes any SF Group or individual exceptionally effective is knowing how to intelligently employ the tools and resources available to him or his team at any given time while using common sense to out think the agressing foe or complete the objective. They're not "Rambos" as many people who have not worked with them or been around them tend to think. They use common sense and their own intelligence to achieve surprise and/or success.

Every branch has their badasses, but a true specialist will give credit where it's due.

@DEVGRU1SEAL when it comes down to who's the best, you can't pick any branch/divsion/group/squad in the world. It just a person at that point. The best person, a natural above everyone. I refuse to say that any branch or SOF is better then any other. Because it really comes down to one man. I'll strive to be that man when I get my SEAL contract.
