I had this horrible nightmare. Barack Obama (president of the U.S.A.) was sitting on his throne (toilet) with the U.S. CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS hanging from a roll mounted in the wall (toilet paper dispenser)...and he was furious because no one would tell him where his crown was (SOCIALISM).
OMG! These arsehats who have covered the stinking pile for POS Obama are now reporting the truth?
This makes me so angry my eyes are bleeding! For over 3 years American citizens have been screaming and begging for the truth about this man be reported. I will NEVER trust the MSM for the truth ever!
STFU Fred Upton, U saving and loans hyprocrites. Not everything is going to work out perfectly. But at least it wasn't done in the dark. Under Bush you wouldn't know about this for another 8 years or so.
The mainstream media can't ignore some stories. Why? Because before they have political motives they have competition from other journalists. Journalism is extremely competitive, including the mainstream media. No liberal journalist would pass on the opportunity to break a big story, even if it's an embarrassing/damaging story for liberals. Remember, news stories are one thing, the liberal narrative to news is another. The people surprised by this video are (unknowingly) disingenuous.
Impeach this fool. This straight up bozo. This Harvard dork. This Liar-in-Chief.
He is guilty of so many crimes I don't understand why no one has filed charges yet. Bribery, theft, treason, failure to uphold the constitution are but a few of this man's transgressions. Why do we stand for this????
"Such start up loans, by their very nature, can be risky."
President Obama failed to say that while pushing such loan upon the taxpayers. I wonder why he isn't talking about this, his latest failure, with the public now.
@InternetDisciple All loans, by their nature, are risky. It doesn't need to be said, it's common-sense. And Solyndra was an existing company when it got the 'loan'.
You must recognize the statement you quoted is deceptively inaccurate. Please understand, because you accepted that statement at face-value your criticism was equally inaccurate. See, you were deceived in a way you didn't expect; I hope I've opened your eyes to that my friend. Lies can't be refuted, lies must only be rejected!
"You must recognize the statement you quoted is deceptively inaccurate."
So you are saying that start up loans are not risky? Most first time businesses fail, my friend. And even you admitted that "all loans, by their nature, are risky".
And, again, president Obama failed to say that while pushing such a loan upon the taxpayers. I still wonder why he isn't talking about this, his latest failure, with the public now. Perhaps he is ashamed of his failure.
@InternetDisciple "So you are saying that start up loans are not risky?"
THE LOAN WAS NOT A START-UP LOAN! THE COMPANY WENT INTO BUSINESS FOUR YEARS BEFORE IT GOT THE LOAN. SOLYNDRA WAS NOT A START-UP COMPANY!
Solyndra got a business-expansion loan. Business-expansion loans are LESS risky than start-up loans because start-up companies go bankrupt more often than existing companies. The reporter implied Solyndra was a start-up company to create "plausible deniability" and down-play the story.
I was just going by what the Obama administration called it. I take it that you feel that they were lying when they called it a start-up loan. Or perhaps you feel that they don't even know what a start-up loan is.
Regardless, Obama failed to say that such a loan was risky while pushing the loan on the taxpayers. He had no executive experience prior to being president. And it shows.
@InternetDisciple "I was just going by what the Obama administration called it. I take it that you feel that they were lying when they called it a start-up loan."
Exactly! They lied when they called it a start-up loan. Because start-up loans are more risky, when a start-up company goes bankrupt it's a surprise to no one (start-up loans are the most risky). They're using that excuse to deny the real scandal.
And I agree with what you said about President Obama, I'm NOT an Obama supporter.
No, real journalism isn't returning...the stench from this deal is so bad they can't ignore it, and I'm sure a fall guy has already been appointed. In fact, I'm sure it'll come out that obummer was deceived somehow, he was for it before he was against it, or some other crap that still ends up with the taxpayer getting the shaft and obummer getting a nice little kickback no matter what happens. Obummer gets paid, guaranteed..and we're the ones paying, or getting extorted/scammed/mugged.

Obama is all about pushing things through quickly, without thought.
Healthcare, Solyndra
Now he wants to quickly push through a 500 billion jobs bill--LOL
Pass this bill now 97 times. What a tool
I feel bad for the company he is visiting next. Weststar precision , everytime he visits a company they go out of business
