It's a nice melody, but should have been done more acoustically with a more tasteful producer, I like the way elvis's voice can take a familiar melody and give it a different dimension, might have worked if you weren't so distracted by all the sound effects.

This is not Christina Aguilera's. It was written by Linda Perry. Elvis Costello recorded it for the 2005 episode of House, "Autopsy". Christina Aguilera performed it in 2002. It is not hers, and Costello certianly did not cover it.

Yes, Linda wrote it, but she gave it to Christina. Christina was the first person to record it and turned it into a massive worldwide hit, thus this is a Christina Aguilera cover, I don't get why you make such a big deal out of it anyway. This is a nice cover.

The original is actually by Linda Perry (Former front woman of the 4 non blondes). I think the best version is by the Lemonheads on their album Varshions. The thing that really hit me once I heard the lemonheads is the quality of this song. Regardless of who performs it, the lyrics are very strong, the chords fit and the song has meaning. The story of how Linda Perry came to write this song and the emotion it gave her in the process is also fascinating

Great! I think the argument of this being Better than Christina's is clearly subjective - however, there is no way anyone can remove the stain that is Aguilera off this track. It will forever be Christiana's song just like these comments only help emphasize.

Weather or not u like one over the other - like i said, art is subjective no matter what.
