I used to have this one! It's really amazing that Nintendo made games like this or Double Dragon & Battle Toads with the graphics closer to 16-bit. And actually NES game always been funnier to play! \m/

Tournament Fighter will always be one of the best fighter games in the history of gaming. imo

My favourite character is Raph. His grapple bite does the most damage, and he has the fastest and coolest special. :p

I like using Casey too, but he's too weak to win from a good opponent.

I hope there was some trick to use Master Splinter too.

well if anyone ant to fight with a hot head Vs hot head ..

u just play any match vs hot head. and next time select hot head as ur choise then suddenly u c tht opponents mark automatically appeared on hot head..

1 more thing mikes power to fly aireal or horizontal with Flamable lages is remarkable but its not easy to apply fast , rapidly and countinuously ..

so that shredder don and third 1 raph is the most deadly fighters. casy was so weak though can be defeated easily

i was the best in this game. no 1 could ever beat me if i had "don". shredder and don r d most powerfull characters because there powers r easy to use at quick time and countinuously.

my brother said he accedently discover shredder additional power other then his ground spark.

he fires 4 or 5 energy bowls at onces when he has a red powerball .i tried so much but still if there is anything ..thats d only thing i hv not foud at all.

@devuurheer Beat 'Em Ups, yes. I don't know many tournament fighters or party fighters, though. This and that one Kunio-Kun party fighter (NOT River City Ransom, the Beat' Em Up) are the only ones coming to mind -- the only good ones, at least. Although I did enjoy that Yie Ar Kung-Fu one.

I am most keen on playing more NES fighters, so if you know of some that I don't, do not hesitate to mention.

Shredder was the cheapest charecter. you could just spam one of his moves. the one at 1:20 i dont know what its called. if you keep doign it they wont survive 2 meters from you.

This game sucked dickholes..I remember being all stoked about playing street fighter, and turtles..and I thought "AMAZING CONCEPT, BOTH OF THEM TOGETHER" but I leanred you must keep them apart.. cuz together they are TERRIBLE

Tournament Fights was unique in that each version of the game is completely different. different characters, different feel, different everything.

Play the SNES version, which is generaly conisdered the best of all of the versions as well as being the best Street Fighter clone ever made.

As for this version...it's a fighter on NES. What did you expect?
