The movie 187 was on HBO yesterday. I didn't have any real plans to watch it but I just flipped the channel there out of curiosity. It just happened to be the scene where this song was playing. This song is what kept me watching the rest of the movie. It turned out this part was the best music of the movie. I thought the movie was just ok, but this song (especially at the 2:46 mark) was just hypnotizing. It doesn't sound like a 14 year old song, I think it could be used in nightclubs even today.

when i listen to this song i see the hot climate and the summer in LA... the palms.... the gangs... the faces of the mexicans...the ghettos... i dont know why but somehow i have these scenes in my mind... of course of the film 187 but although its a curious imagination from me... i mean when this song starts in the film, you see the red morning of LA... queerly its a relaxed feeling, maybe ''relax'' is the wrong word, i cant describe... i just like it!
