yeah I've been a vegetarian for over 2 years, and I hate it when people ask me if I support peta. I get a little pissed off.  Ingrid Newkirk has health problems and one of her medications contains animal products. Seriously when asked about it she replied with "I need my life to save the lives of other animals".

Although there exists animal cruelty in the meat industry, there is a difference between it and the fur industry. You can eat free-range, hormone free, grain fed meat that did not suffer in terrible conditions. However, all fur comes from animals that endured suffering and pain. So eating meat doesn't mean you are pro-cruelty or make you a hypocrite for being against fur at the same time. You might want to look that up ChappyLip. I still think KC is a media whore though.
