he's wrong. you should take apart your marker monthly to clean it and lube it if you want it to last a long time. its not going to hurt the gun if it's taken apart. also if you have a tippmannn you should be able to take it apart without looking at the manual. taking a shotgun apart is more complicated than a tippmann
this is stupid if you dont clean your gun out and take it apart it gets jacked up. just read the instructions that come with the gun it tells you how to take it apart and clean it.
Heres my problem. I am not a big paintballer, I only go about once every four or five months. I have a Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum edition, and I haven't opened the marker up. I have had it for almost a year, and I almost never get shot in the marker, or get it dirty or drop it. I lube it often, but I am concerned with cleaning and I am not sure as to whether I should open it up. I haven't had any problems, and I am afraid of breaking something internally. Please help.
If your uncomfortable taking it completely apart, even with the aid of the manual. Why not take it down to your nearest field/[aintball store and ask them if they can do it for you and show you at the same time?
might cost you a couple of quid (or bucks if your in the US) but a good investment if it helps A) your confidence and B) enables long term marker care.
some one shoot that guy never heard something so stupid in my life thats like some one saying you never need to do a tune up on your car till the block cracks
ok this is stupid dont take the gun apart? i understad maby for a speed ball gun but the 98 custom he was holding is very simple i take mine appert every 2 game days to get a deep clean, you need to or shit will build up and oventualy jam on you in mid game.
Jesus Christ, this guy's a fucking moron. He says to lube your ASA?! If you put gun oil in the ASA, then air it up, the first burst of C02 that comes out of the tank will blow your ASA clean off the gun, same with HPA. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. "Only take your gun apart if it's broken." That might apply to your shitty 98 Customs, but after a day of play I totally strip down my 06 Empire Intimidator, and clean everything out. I've been playing for 6 years. Trust me, not him...
I take mine apart all the time and it still works fine
It comes apart really easy, Especially the 98 Custom, very good for routine maintenance after a game, especially when paint breaks inside the compartment.
they have alot of diffrent people from all over the country the send them videos. They dont make alll these videos themselves if they do they knoww to much about our planet lol
dude you should probaby take it apart and clean the bolt and shit cause co2 is dirty and well if your like me you like to see how it works.. im damn new to paintball(less than a month) and i know this... and to shockerdude, i think its an a-5.
