  • the kaossilator is the most useless and stupid piece of gear EVER... they could at least have done added a filter, or an lfo... idk, whatever would make it a better machine, even so, is a total waste...

  • Oooh you can make all kinds of bloopy shit.. lmao

  • i really like this! nice job!

  • I want all of that badly.

  • the kaossilator is the small yellow one. the black one is kp3 also known as kaoss pad.cheapest price for them is probably ebay around 120$ for kaossilator and 300 for pad

  • Does anyone know why he uses the kaossilator?

  • ik were to get nanoloop, but were do i get this kaosspad?

  • @wazewp9 try in a music/dj store

  • @wazewp9 Obviously you haven't mastered the internets : /

  • You got a nice song going here :)

  • Awesome stuff!!!

  • id imagine he's using the gameboy to generate sounds and the kaosspad to sample loop and add effects/

  • @milkkart yep, the gameboy acts as a sequencer.

  • @Tubofluxar it would be too plain otherwise :/

  • かっちょいい

  • Fuckin sick.

  • that really doesnt look like nanoloop to me =S

  • How is your gameboy micro connected to the kaos pad?

  • @solarwinter86

    1/8" jack to rca

  • Outstanding.

  • OH MY GOD

  • One of the best Game Boy Vids, NICE MAN.

  • Thats where the music comes from. The big fat thing is the effects processor.

  • The gameboy is the instrument, silly!

  • preset 9 on the kaoss compliments everything :D

  • tht looks soo fun!

  • how much was the kaosspad ?

  • i bought mine for like $300?

i barely use it, but as soon as i get a micro korg im setting some shit up

    lulz

  • cool! i almost never seen a gameboy micro! Is the sound with nano loop or lsdj nice?

  • its ok but sounds real nice plugged on your stereo...

anyways thats a micro famicon edition limited...their like 60 € on ebay shipped from japan.

  • but quite rare at the moment....

  • 3:11---->3:40 Favorite

  • what is that your playing? it's not a gameboy?

  • Gameboy Micro with Nanoloop 2.2/3. The big black thing is Kaoss Pad 3, and the small yellowy thing is a kaossilator.

  • wow..

    thats flippin sweet.

what kind of setup would you recomend for somebody just getting into chiptune?

im thinking of just getting a Kaossilator and a gameboy running nanoloop or LSDJ(if i can ever get my hands on a copy..)

  • You don't need a Kaossilator to get into Chiptunes, i started with a Gameboy camera and a standard Gameboy, then moved to nanollop, and now to LSDJ< and i've just got my self a Korg Kaossilator (the yellowy/greeny thing you see in this video) simply because i now want to expand on my musical sounds, now i need a mixer, perhaps a Kp3 because i don't know much about mixers tehe./

Start small and then get bigger :) don't start with SHIT LOADS of equipment.

Most of the time simplest is best :)

  • hmmm..

    makes sense,

    ill look into that.

    thanks for the help. :)

  • Is this all entierly nanoloop 2.2? (the music) then just affects added on with your equipment?

    This sounds amazing, great song.

  • No, the Kaossilator (yellow thing) also make music, the black box (Kaoss Pad 3) makes the added effects.

  • your right paedrough japenese tech is pritty kick ass

  • 日本人の技術のスキルは凄いですよ!!!

  • awesome! I need this shit!

  • holly shiiitttttt

  • like a traitor i tend to run nanoloop on my PSP.

I only have a KP2 too, that 3 looks nice.

more random techno jam-sessions please :)

  • BURN THE HERATIC! PSP?! NOO!

  • i bought an NDS, and was so bitterly disapointed with how rubbish it is, i went out and bought a second PSP.

  • Bought a second PSP?

    Lol.

  • dang, tis awesome

  • how much did you pay for your kaosspad and give me a list of everything your using and there prices.

  • Kaoss Pad 3- Probably about $500

    Kaossilator- About $200

    Gameboy Micro- $50?

    Nanoloop 2.2- $120 or so.

  • kp3 is $400:/

    close though

  • なんだこれかっこいいな

  • すごいすごい

  • Komputermuzik... very nice! I like it.

  • omfg whats the one on the right?!?

  • A mini/micro KP, basically the smaller brother of the big Kaos pad

  • acutally no...its the Kaossilator. A synth/drum machine that uses a touch pad like the Kaoss Pad.

  • I don't think it's being used in this video though...

  • just go to 3:12 it gets used there

  • wow - nice job!

  • Nicely done!

    Cool track......

    Cheers!!
