You don't need the ghoul to make him not despawning ( i know here is something false, my english is to bad <.< ). You have to stand at the wall and look that your plagues are up always and he will not hesawon. He Just desawpnes when they are not up

@geo13bmx happens sometimes just make sure yto have your ghoul out whenever possible and try to stay in an edge at entrance then the chance that he respawns is pretty low

Somethings wrong, me and my friend just went in here today too check it out, we had him down too around 200k, when the prison began to fall apart, then suddenly, BOOM, he disapears, Wowiki says that you need too killl at least 3 channelers to win, but its imposible for a pally healer and a frost DK to dps thru the healing, any tips?

@Elleniceone I found out this is caused when you don't attack him for 1 seconds (IE: After the Quake). You can avoid this by flying towards him using some kind of attack or to put a D&D underneath him after +-4 secs of the Quake.

Tanking him near the wall makes this A LOT easier seeing you will be in range to actually do this.

I've been doing this weekly on my 85 prot warr. Ignoring the adds is basically a must, and when he does blast nova just eat it. He's reset on me in the past from running from it. If the adds stay up when he's dead just leave the room and they despawn. Just stay on him as close as you can at all times.

Have you tried this since recently? Because I tried and i'm taking a lot of damage and not been able to stay up for long, if you can do it I probably need a bit more practice :)

Just did this, and yes, it is very possible to do this in 4.0 . Glyphed Vampiric Blood and it helped loads, I got icc25 normal tank gear full sta gems, 56k hp ub and stacked mastery.

I got gear around lvl 251 and byrntroll heroic, blood-skilled and selfheal glyph-stuff... I got him on 80% and that's just it... too much dmg, too less selfheal...

@ExceedProduction Well I kept icy touch and Scarlet Fever up, and shared my CDs around, I was around 11k hp most of the fight was struggling a lot but wasn't too hard, and combining Vamp Blood(glyphed) with Death Pact to pop up to 100% easy and also get Bloodshieldtracker addon, Don't do 2x Death Strikes in a row or you'll waste your absorb shield, That's all I can pretty much tell you :d Good luck

Well my problem was, that with keeping SF and IT up I waste runes needed for DS (Frost) + 2 Blood (Pestilence + BB). Well, the Bloodrunes are not THAT important cause they are just used every 20/30 seconds but it's damage lost to HS. The fight really gets enlonged due to damage loss in order to keep survival running.

But Bloodshieldtracker sounds interesting to me. If it does what I think... neat!

Managed to get him down to 24% without reseting, at which point he enraged... lol.

I was running ~260 average ilvl tanking gear with a WoG oriented spec with WoG glyph. Trying 2p t10 ret (for +5% dmg) made me get roflstomped. I can't really use more than a few shields of the righteouss, and I'm almost forced to at last most of the time use Seal of Insight for the additional self healing, so I'm sort of at a loss as a Paladin here. Oh well.

What's your rotation for soloing, I'm hitting Deathstrike at every opportunity and essentially saving my Frost/Unholy exclusively for Deathstrike. My gear is 232 iLevel so naturally when Mag came out I only lasted about 20 seconds. Also what spec are you using? I noticed it was Unholy, can Unholy self heal as well as Blood?
