I really find it annoying and cruel hearted when people ask those questions to people in the military =/ 1, not all military personel go to war, my father went to war, but didn't kill anyone. He more sufficated crewmates with farts, and those crewmates were smites (unsure about smelling but Jack may get the joke). My mother never went on a ship, jeep, plane, nothing. She never went to war, but both of them are retired 25 years.

my uncle who was in the vietnam war has been asked that question by one of his co workers and he punched his co-worker in the face. He said that by asking that question he couldnt control himself with that punch because he didnt like the war many of his best friends died and he had to watch as they died in combat or blown up by mines. He said that that will never be asked again

@bmain1 It was, the only reason i know is because i was watching this show (i think it may have been Modern Family) and at the end it said in Commemoration of that guy (dont remember his name) so my family was confused so we looked it up and his son produces or directs Modern Family

I'm proud of him..so we talked and I found out he was a Sargeant, and my granddad was a Corporal. My bf was a Sargeant also. Thanks for serving our Country.
