Music from the last round of the cross accords plutonic Sun and solar Plutonides. On the next one, 1939 to 1958, it was Swing, and no more the same. Now we are under a uranic Sun. Plutonides saturnic, and music accordingly.
I agree with the other very positive comments; I have visited the church and organ myself during my last summer holiday; indeed a very impressive instrument!
It's the first time that I see a console like that one, with so curious accidental notes. Could you please explain me why are them like that? And could you give us some more information about the organ?
I think it is like the Lorenzo da Prato and Malamini organs in San Petronio, where the Eb is divided to D#. But in San Petronio organs, only Eb/D# and G#/Ab are divided. The other "black keys" are "normal".
However, an organ with divided keys "sounds better", because the organist can decide to touch Eb or D# (or the others black keys) following the sheet music.
Well, I promised someone else to make a video and explain how it works, but I didn't have time!
Stefano explained it well!
This is a copy of the first organ in S:t Gertrud. The original organ was made by Muller and the copy is made brilliantly well by Grönlund. There is actually one more organ identical to this in the nothern parts of sweden. When someone working in the parish (think it was the headpriest) heard the identical organ to this he wanted a copy of it and put it in S:t Gertrud so
I so much envy you, those who can play organ! And you can do it on a excellent one! It's also a luxury having Baroque-styled organs near you, not only to play them, but also to hear them!
This is the REAL Johannes! Thank you for inspiring video!

Excellent performance.
You are right - it is a very fine organ, and I should imagine Bach spent quite a lot of time playing oldish organs, so the sound is probably spot on.

Wonderful work Johannes.
I told you this is a beautiful recording. It would have been a shame to not have uploaded it.
Just listen to that clear pedal solo at the beginning. I like your sharp registration and that reed in the pedal sounds heavenly!
M.C. Alain would be very pleased by this performance!

Müller? Christian Müller? In Sweden? Curious...

- so now S:t Gertrude has a exact replica of the 1608 years organ that were there.
It has 36 stops. The church also has another organ, a neo-baroque!
