Why do the women they have available for interviews in the media, so often have such a profound gift for making gender an issue? It'd be comical if it wasn't so flogged to death. No, it couldn't be because your doctor just wasn't being an astute observer. It's because you're a woman. And it couldn't be an aberration. Your presumption of genderized reaction ought be extrapolated to the norm.
This really serves as a good model of ALL the presumptions made for women in society (Wage gap?)
