  • gale is not a bad character, but i catched me yelling inside my head to jessie "pull the trigger!" while whatching this scene for the first time. i've never done this before in any other movie or show no matter how bad the dying villain was. just one of the proofs that Breaking Bad is an AWESOME SHOW!!!!!

  • wat song is this

  • i never knew nagillig ecniv made breaking bad, who'd a thought

  • does anybody know the name of that annoying song?

  • Cant wait for the special edition where Gale shoots first

  • I should be studying and I'm here to see breaking bad videos. again

  • This show makes you feel like a sociopath. He was a nice good guy, you like him. But still, you kept wishing that he wouldn't notice the phone..

  • This is THE sadest thing ive ever watched on TV. He was such a nice guy.

  • is that Nick Diaz - Metal Mulisha T-shirt ? :-D what a pick ! :-D

  • Was I the only one on the edge of my seat hoping Gale wouldn't hear his phone vibrating?

  • this scene made my spine shiver.. wow

  • God, this is even worse than when they destroyed the RV..

  • i think he might pull through, expect to see Gale returning in Season 5

  • Beretta Cougar round TO THE FACE.

    That should wrap it up.

  • anyone notice how gale uses the laser for the temperature, and it was right at that dot where the bullet went through?

  • That'd be funny as shit if the second before Jessie shoots him, that instead he puts his gun down and they both start singing that song Gale was singing when he was watering his plants

  • what's the song playing?

  • OMG . right before end where Jesse fires the gun he looks so much like Max Payne from the first game ... crazy

  • He didn't even let him finish his tea..

  • this is the only show im into at the moment. bring on the final season!

Given up on dexter, that shit is getting ridiculous

  • No option... its kill or be killed

  • most saddest scene...

  • Gale should have discarded the first infusion of that tea.

  • What's the name of the song in the background?

  • Gale was the best. RIP. :(

  • @SteveJawbs You're my favorite person ever.

  • Am I the only one who wants to know what song is playing in the background?

  • @Nougatocity6 Yes you are, you chink loving faggot.

  • The whole last 10 minutes of that episode had my chest tight.

  • Damn you Netflix!!!!!!!!!!

  • the whole last sequence of this season was heartpounding (would describe it best)

  • "oh god you shot me, you shot me right in the eye!"

  • do u see how he moved the gun a little? did he really kill gale

  • @dakanister23 lol watch season 4.

  • @dakanister23 that was exactly what i thought!! but apparently not :(

  • I can't remember, but who was attempting to call Gale in this scene? Walt?

  • @DeadOmega Mike (Gus' hitman) was trying to call him so that he could defend himself against Jesse. They were going to kill Walt, and use Gale as his replacement. Jesse killed him so that Walt could live.

I feel silly for going into such detail...

  • @bob2002ish Why? This show is awesome and has a ton of plot details worth discussing. But yeah, I remember why everything went down, just wasn't sure who was trying to call Gale. Now that I remember, Walt wanted Jesse to do this, so there's no reason why he'd warn Gale..

  • @bob2002ish Dont feel silly, this show is emphasizes on detail. I love the details

  • was this jesse's first kill?

  • @longhorns13192

He already participated in a double murder(even tho was accidental) and shoot a guy (self defense) a guy but yes, this was his first personal face to face cold blood kill.

  • @goldenOO i dont really count that first double murder a kill he didnt really do anything..just melt that guys body lol...what self defense ? i dont remember before this

  • @longhorns13192

Well, that episode is considered a murder. xD

When he shoot Tuco. It didn't kill him or anything, but it was still Jesse.

  • Gale listens to some pretty strange music

  • Comment removed

  • @WhereSinto there's a whole season 4

  • anyone know the song?

  • @TheConzArtist The song is ¨Man Chang Fei¨ you can find it on the soundtrack.

  • Comment removed

  • is there another episode after this ?

  • I liked gale :(((((

  • But I liked Gale :(

  • best scene, yo!

    great actor!! WOW!

  • The music makes it even more heart wrenching. :(

  • Ihad to keep telling my self, "Gales not real, Gales not real"

  • @weedchopin I truly agree.

  • If i was Gale i'd think Jesse was a really pissed neighbor who wanted me to shut off my music...

  • @Krucius besides the fact that Gale knows Jesse replaced him at the lab

  • i dont understand? does gale recognize Jesse or not?

  • this was the first episode that i saw of breaking bad...been hooked ever since 8D

    very powerful scene

  • This show is addicting. I watched seasons 1-3 on instant netflix back to back in a span of 5 days, I couldn't stop watching it, every episode ends with you wanting to know more and for some reason they don't have season 4 up on netflix yet, anyway I instantly jumped up and drove to best buy literally right after this scene like a crack head rumbling through the isle trying to find season 4 on DVD only to find out its not in stores yet! I cant wait to get my fix...

  • @aesnowb04 you can find season 4 online

  • @aesnowb04 3 seasons in 5 days??? What took you so long?!? :)

  • @aesnowb04 Torrent it bro! I had to, I'm gonna buy it as soon as its on DVD though :D

  • @aesnowb04 That's exactly what I did lol and now I'm watching them again with my wife.

  • Aaron Paul is one hell of an actor.

  • The two most intense final episodes of any season of any show I've ever seen, both endings kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time, almost fainted it was too much haha!

  • "You either run from things or you face them, Mr. White. I learned it in rehab"

    "I accept who i am."

    "Who are you?"

    "..Im the bad guy"

  • Aaron Paul is an astonishing actor, that Emmy was long overdue.

  • Fuck, I hate how they always make you feel sympathetic towards the character they kill off...

  • @dannybagoo you feel sympathetic towards Walt? :)

  • @dannybagoo I wasnt sympethetic when they killed gus, fuck that asshole.

  • This scene made me feel 10 emotions in the span of a few seconds. First he pointed the gun at Gale and that heart-breaking expression on his face made it clear that he will shoot him, no last-minute brilliant cop-out, but then he turns the gun towards the viewers!!! WHAT THE FUCK.

On 2nd viewing I thought it was symbolic. He was assassinating us for breaking bad along with Mister White.

  • @Subartimaeus Actually, the camera turned, not Jesse.

  • Am I a bad person for cheering Jesse on?

  • @PadrigVellca

In this case, yes... yes, you are. Because Gale was an all-around good person who properly acknowledged and vouched for Walt's talent in chemistry. Jesse understood this to some extent, which is why he spent so much of season 4 suffering for it.

Kinda interesting how that is. Walt should be feeling more badly about his death; they did have a nice conversation together and had more similarities than Jesse did. I don't even think Jesse ever properly spoke to the guy.

  • i very often while watching breaking bad hated walter white. sometimes, because he was just nerly always angry at jesse, and sometimes because hes an egoist. like in this case. the moral question would not exist if there were a active position of gale in this conflict. but he is just as innocent one can be, and a great personality too, as you discover in season 4...

  • men, this is truly sad...but it is a masterpiece at the same time...it couldnt be better

  • You know how amazing this show is when you can both feel like a terrible person IRL for Gale's death and still completely sympathize and feel sorry for Jesse.

Best drama of all time. RIP Gale :(

  • amazin acting aaron paul

  • unsettling.

  • Heartbreaking.

  • He moves the gun to the left before he shoots. Gale isn't even dead.

  • @bhrubos hes dead. they show the crime scene later

  • @bhrubos Did you watch the 4th season? Lol He's definitely dead dude...

  • Comment removed

  • @bhrubos You're fucking retarded.

  • I loved the ending of the one before this when he hits the dealers who killed the kid and blew the ones brains out.

  • gale is no criminal, he is just a chemist witht he pure love of chemistry. i believe that drugs are a beautifull its the people, the money and the power struggles that ruines everything for everybody

  • A true science/tea nerd would take the kettle's temperature AS he's pouring the water.

  • David Costabile got to be in multiple episodes of 2 of the greatest series ever made: Breaking Bad and The Wire.

  • It's sad, but it was either Gale or Walt and Jesse. Even the DEA was not an option because they would have come after his family. Gale did not deserve it but neither did Walt and Jesse. Now, neither one deserved to live more, however, I would want to continue to be the living one, so..

  • SOMEONE TELL ME THE SONG PLEASE!

  • Gale was such a nice geek.

  • IMO, Gale did not belong in the drug scene. He was too nice to begin with to survive anyway.

  • holy fuck. this scene is even more remarkable after rewatching it.

  • i felt bad for gale

  • This scene made me cry. I loved Gale and all his innocence.

  • @sunorangeblister GROW SOME BALLS U 23 YEAR OLD FAGGOT.

  • @sunorangeblister hardly innocent if he cooks meth...

  • @jasewildheart Is there anything wrong with meths?

  • @ChuckPalomo Its Illegal to cook it, hence he is not "innocent".

  • @jasewildheart Not because its illegal it is bad, besides, I'm not talking from the point of view of tha law, but a moral one.

Also, how can anyone dislike that guy? this scene is heartbreaking.

  • @ChuckPalomo Well I could argue that it is morally bad to produce drugs too, if you think of the misery and crime they bring then yes I think that Meths are bad. Junkies can do some pretty bad things for a fix. Just look at the deaths and mayhem in the story of Breaking Bad as an example.

So yes Gale wasnt innocent at all, not in the eyes of the law and not morally either. He also got involved in a deadly bussiness through choice, he wasnt a bystander.

  • @jasewildheart Ok, let the fight begin.

Some people consume drugs, I do believe in freedom, the freedom to fuck up my body if I feel like doing it, as long as I don't damage the other, you could counter that saying that your family and loved ones are damaged in the process, or that drugs iduce you to commite crimes. But that's the individual's fault, not drugs, the guy chose to consume it, his responsabilitie. It's exactly the same with booze, and as long as I know booze is legal.

  • @jasewildheart Drugs are not the problem, its the people who doesn't know how to use it responsibly.

  • @ChuckPalomo Well you may have something of a point but given that there is a very large number of people who do not know how to use them responsibly than deliberately supplying those people with drugs as Gale was doing is in my opnion morally wrong. I guess we will have to agree to to differ here, but I understand what you are saying.

  • BANG!.....Bitch!

  • Holy shit Aaron Paul kills it in every scene he is in. He deserves as many Emmys as Cranston, tbh

  • Why does anyone even doubt he didnt kill gale?? Its obvious he did 1 he had to do it for walt, he friend/partner. 2 the view in which it switches to gales view facing the gun, then doing a sopranos like ending of just going black. what would happen when gale gets shot.....

  • @dreadly101 No one doubts it now, lol. I did for a bit at first until I read Vince Gilligan say that people were taking the camera moving totally wrong. As you stated, just switching to Gale's view, letting us see the last thing he saw.

  • Gale was my favorite character, why did they kill him off like that...

  • Damn, I'd love to have Gale's music collection!

  • Poor Gale

  • @Theakker3B

    Right?

And Jesse's " Problem Dog " Speech just makes it worse.

  • Wow, I didn't know the Executive Producer's name was Nagillig Tnecniv.

  • @somebody331000 cuz its nagillig ecniv

  • @somebody331000

    Ecniv*

  • I really didn't care about Gale's death until I saw the flashbacks of him in Season 4. Then I truly understood the gravity of Walt's actions.

  • Daaamn, that's some serious acting!!

  • please somebody tell me !!! whats the mame of that song, it sounds sweet music!

  • /watch?v=CBUvjU3YK9M

For the REST of this scene, watch that. If it doesnt give you chills, i dont know what will.

  • Pollos

  • ...just making sure Jesse knocked instead of ringing the door bell. lol. well done!

  • Brilliant show, really had no idea he was going to kill him.

  • tragic they should have made gale a villain maybe i wouldn't still be angry at jesse

  • And to add insult to jury, AMC throw us the bomb that is the Gale karaoke video!

  • I shed a tear when I saw this.

  • i dont understand why walt wanted to kill gale some one explain plz

  • @vafadude Walter knew that Gus only wanted his recipe, not him. Gus was planning on using Gale to replace Walt and Walter was aware of that. To counteract Gus, Walter had Jesse kill Gale before Gus could kill Walter.

  • @Malkintosh thx

  • @vafadude simple. The pollo boss wanted Walter dead so He needed Gale to know and run the cooking. However, the only option Walter had so save his own life was to have gale killed so the Only chemistry person would be him and then Walt would have also a leverage.

  • oh man, getting chills.

  • I'd kill him just for listening to that music.

  • Stupid video is mirrored :(

  • The gangster-jew murders another mexican or two on . . breaking bad !

when you break the law you need a jewish lawyer, when you have personal problems, you need a jewish therapist. when you get sick, you need a jewish doctor, when you get divorced, you need a jewish lawyer. you can trust these kosher individuals 100% and always tell them EVERYTHING. White police, teachers, scientists, nurses etc. are immoral and untrustworthy.

  • jesse is left handed

  • On AMC's website you can look at Gale's file. It said he was shot with a .38 handgun.

    WTF?????

  • @GOLD3NxHAWKx21 38 Super maybe?

  • from that fucking tense moment waiting and waiting and waiting some more. to the start of sorry ass, weak ass, skylar c bag filled bullshit. lame

  • Maybe I'm dense but can anyone explain what that first scene of season 3 was about? (with the twins and other villagers crawling to that skeleton woman and pinning a picture of walt on the 'shrine') Usually these types of scenes link to the end of the season, like the plane crash scenes of season 2. Did I miss something?

  • @bedshaped333 google santisima

  • @changospank1 santa muerte would have been a better place to start but thanks for the tip, it led me there. so it was religious...

  • Jesses knocked, not a word spoken, but he stayed at the crime scene

  • @Domexpo

Essentially he was only at the scene itself for 3-8 Seconds after the shot was discharged, and then exiting the building and sat in his car. Nobody noticed him in his car, or thought it was out of the ordinary, except for Victor. Because he know's whats going on obviously. Or did.

  • @blizzy00 I'm just trying to nitpick foreshadowing hints and what not for future episodes, sort of like in season...2?

  • He deserved to die, the music is awful....

  • So he knocked... Good.

  • @Harrier997

Yeah, i went back after last episode's discussion between Walt and Jesse as well. Jesse cant even Tell Walt ANYTHING about the shooting, being that it would probably make his head implode.

  • What's that music Gale is listening to?

  • @teddddybear Man Chang Fei

  • My heart </3

  • my question is how did the bullet pierce the tea kettle, as shown in season 4 episode 1, when he clearly shot his cheek? if gale was standing fully upright, it couldnt have pierced the kettle unless he shot it at a downward motion?

  • @117badassbuddy Maybe Gale's face altered the bullet's trajectory, lol. :-(

  • @Craigmin

Sadly so, i think that's what happened.

And also that was not an M9, i stand corrected. It's a Barretta " Cheetah " , Which can be both .22, and or .25. I think they may make it in a 9mm as well. But yeah, Having to go through Gale's face would mean it had to penetrate multiple layers of bone, cross scare tissue, Muscles, Ect.

It's scientifically possible with the trajectory for it to happen. The round is probably near flat or squished, to the size of your pinky nail, in kettle.

  • @blizzy00 A .22 at close range sometimes doesn't have the speed to exit the skull so it will ricochet internally doing ridiculous amounts of damage.

  • @blizzy00 Beretta**

  • I think Walt will get Mike on his side, Mike's reaction to Walts suggestion of killing Gus was spot on, if Mike had said "let me see what I can do", then Walt would have been dead. Mike did point the gun at Gus when he killed Victor so I think Walt is on to something.

  • I wonder what's going to happen because there's that book that Gus gave him on the table. I wonder if anyone is going to link that to Gus.

  • Aaron Paul is extraordinary.

  • That's what you get for listening to this weird chinese music...^^

  • Its been said a million times but god DAMN this is the best show on tv.

  • Poor Gale, the sheer and obvious innocence of his character, and the look in Jesse's eyes as he's about to kill a guy who doesn't deserve it. Can't help but feel for both these guys. Season 3 knew how to end with us demanding more, in a good way.

  • lol at all his pointless accessories!

  • Jesse said he was the bad guy, I don't think he truly knew what that meant until now.

  • @georgekostaras

Yeah, you can tell that from the end of Sundays Episode " Thirty Eight Snub ", When he Turned his Sound System all the way up and layed against a blaring speaker just to try and get the image of Gale out of his head. Jesse is definitely dropping off the deep end mentally "

  • @georgekostaras Uh... I do. He got Jane back and drugs and that is what killed her. He's supplying people with crystal meth - a drug that ruins lives. As much as he tries to justify and downplay this, when he says "I'm the bad guy", he's accepting that there's no two ways about it but refuses to give it up because, to quote him, it's the only thing that he's good at. This is simply survival of the fittest - I think out of all of Jesse's actions, this is the most justifiable. It was Gale or him.

  • @georgekostaras if i could thumbs this up a thousand times i would. that basically went right through my head throughout the entire scene, and i was like "there's no fucking way he's gonna do it, they have a plan," but low and behold, dead guy.

  • 0:09 the red dot on the pot is directly on the same spot where the bullet that kills Gale shows up in Season 4. HOLY SHIT BREAKING BAD'S GENIUS!
