in RL the rt12 destroys the slr. the new version with 650bhp does 0-300kp/h in ~25sec. faster than an enzo.

The problem is the shifting its really slow in game the slr has a paddle shift (I think)

In real life Ruf RT12 is much faster and better car than SLR. It costs just 1/2 of the price of the Merc as well.

I'd put my money on the RUF tearing an slr a new one in real life! The 530 hp rt12 gets to 60 in 3.2 thats more than 1/2 a sec faster than the SLR and thats the baby RUF! 650 hp, no competition!

the slr is slightly more maneuverable on a track.

professionals often compare it to the Porsche CGT.

RUF was created for those who like the smaller compact models. not as expensive, and not as agile. it does hit 200 mph faster than some of the supercars so it can hold its ground but not for very long, i would imagine.

ruf are a manufacturer in there own right,there the only porsche modifier to gain german tuv approval and be granted the status as a manufacturer,i have been to there factory in germany,they take a brand new car and strip it completely,and i mean to bare metal,i kid you not,and start again..

Actually from what I read once people still say all they do is tune Porsches and re-sell them as RUF, But since they make so many modifications to the engines and interiors and exteriors it makes them a manufacturer

RUF is both a tuner and a manufacturer. You can buy a Porsche Carrera 911 Turbo and make your own RT12 for much less through buying a RUF body kit and performance upgrades.

Both cars do about 250mph in the slipstream when fully tuned to stage 3. Nice vid ! Nice crash at the end there and I thought you were taking a leaf out my book with nothing on screen, I see a speedometer. J/P Again nice vid.
