@xxXTobyZickXxx No you're wrong... in an interview, rivelino said his grandma taught him how to do the elastico. So it was Rivelino's grandma who invented this skill ;)
@Ray2104music no seriously dude, Rivelino's grandma got the elastico idea from a dead samurai which came to her in a dream. He told her that it was his family secret and it should never be used because it was to powerful. "It may alter the universe!" he said.
I'm a fan of Ronaldo and the day that he impress me, it's the final inter-Lazio when he did the elastico, and don't watch this in slow motion, that amazing when you see it in "live"
That's so awesome, many players arrives to do that as Ronaldinho for exemple, but Ronaldo makes it at full speed !
And he did that to Nesta, it's not my grand-ma you see x)
"Ronaldo pulls off the elastico at midfield, in full speed (vs the stopped version of Weah & Dinho) against Nesta... Its not like he did it to my grandma, we're talking Nesta here...!" Zidane
That second comment was the last bit Zidane said. Thumbs up my comments so people can see the translation please. Whatta man! So yea, the title's misleading, it should say something like "The best elastico ever, according to Zidane", but hey.
There was the goalie too, yea, but the elastico... You see - I didn't even talk about it and that's what you said. The elastico. But not in slow motion! Because in slow-mo, well... [you lose the speed of it]. Watch it - we'll watch it - in real time. Weah did them well, Ronaldinho did them well, but listen - he was at full speed, in midfield, and it's Nesta he does it to. It's not my granny he's doing this to! So obviously it becomes... [brilliant]. And now we'll just have to watch it.
Zidane: Yep. There’s this shot, I don’t know if people talk about it, or if we’ll be able to see it, but the day when he really made an impression on me, the shot of him that I always remember was in the final of the UEFA cup, it was Inter against Lazio in Paris...
Interviewer: When he did the elastico, like this?
Zidane: Exactly.
Interviewer: And when he dribbled around the goalie, too!

@xxbluejay21 Lol, Zizou is way better than Ronaldinho... Ronaldinho is just the moves,,, no man marking, no running down to defence, lazy player.. Great players know how to play D and attack..
@craigcraigycragthat second rate Italian league is the league in which Ronaldo performed this elastico. Also, Barca has only beaten teams from that second rate Italian league once in the past 4 years. Ibra haters like you clearly dont understand football. And Ibra didnt flop at Barca, he just wasnt suited the Barca style of play. The same way Messi has only scored 1 goal in the past 2 years for Argentina. Flop?
@supernova487 point taken but the English Premier league is the best league in the world. Serie A was the best years ago but its not now. and the Spanish League is a two-horse race every season. besides barca and madrid no one else can win it....
@craigcraigycrag Barcelona and Real Madrid would probably turn any league into a two-horse race atm. EPL is more "competitive" because of billionaires buying clubs, not because it's a 'better' league. EPL has been won by Man Utd for 12/19 seasons of the modern league, how very competitive. Chelsea and Arsenal won 3 each. Out of the 3 Chelsea (a billionaire owned club) Arsenal placed 2nd once and Man Utd twice. Now top 3 clubs are Man City Man Utd and Chelsea. 2 r billionaire owned.
@tahwyasaggin but you have to agree the EPL is MORE exciting than the La Liga! Madrid and Barca are TOO far ahead of the rest of the teams in that league! its turning it like the Scottish league where only Rangers and Celtic can win it... i dont think its fair that Barca and Madrid have there own TV right, which enables them more cash to spend than the other club in there league. I'd take the EPL over La Liga anyday. if you look at the Madrid team its full of guys who made there name in the EPL
@craigcraigycrag no I don't agree the EPL is "more" exciting than La Liga. That's why I watch Spanish football. I like the league's overall style. Ok again with the TV rights... it doesn't really matter. I told you already, the competition Manchester Utd has is not because of TV $ but thanks to outside sources. Without Chelsea and Manchester City who does Man U have that can really contend for the title now? Arsenal hahaha, Liverpool and Totenham? lol Now Malaga will become the Spanish Chelsea.
@tahwyasaggin You laugh but spurs, liverpool and arsenal could all come 2nd or 3rd in la liga. La ligs is such boring football its unreal. Any team against Barca just admit defeat before ive seen it. In the EPL every team goes for a win and thats why its so good to watch. Newcastle are a clear example of that this season. They are sitting 3rd in the table only 1 point behind Man Utd.
@94aman94 speculation... that's all it is. I could say both Madrid and Barca could finish 1st and 2nd in the EPL. So your opinion for entertainment is universal? Everybody has your taste? For me it's not boring. They just give up? lol. That's why Barcelona tied with Sociedad, Sevilla, Valencia. And was only able to pull off 1-0 wins against Granada and Sporting de Gijon? How about Real Madrid? They lost to Levante (3rd=NC), tied against Racing and won 1-0 against Sociedad. So much for giving up.
@94aman94 thats cuz the major teams like liverpool and arsenal have been flopping. even chelsea at times. anyways this is still the begining of the season so you cant judge how well newcastle will do overall
you say liga isnt competitive look at athletico last year which won the europa league, it had to beat english teams like liverpool to win it but in la liga they were 7th place. dont talk about anything without knowing the statistics, and im not even a fan of la liga
@craigcraigycrag Carvalho (made name in Porto taken to Chelsea, then Madrid by Mourinho), Xabi Alonso (made name in Real Sociedad bought by Liverpool), L. Diarra (lol...), who else? Oh CR7 (only one who really did). Ramos (Sevilla), Kaka (Milan), Ozil (Bundesliga), Dive Maria (Benfica), Higuain (River or Boca?), Benzema (Lyon), so they're full of EPL players? maybe they are in the bench. Barcelona fan so idk. On the other hand David Silva, Juan Mata, Aguero, Arteta, de Gea, the list goes on too.
@tahwyasaggin hey your from the united states! shouldnt you be more interested in the LA Galaxy and New York Red Bulls? are you one of them yanks who call Football (invented in England) Soccer???
@craigcraigycrag lol I live in the USA so that must mean I'm a white yank and that I don't know shit about football... how ignorant. Btw I'm not even American but does it even matter? Are you one of those ignorant fools that don't know the word "Soccer" was coined in England?
@craigcraigycrag And the english league isn't the same? For years England has been a two team league (Man U and Chelsea) and is only different this year because of arab money at man city. Last time a team won La liga other then Real/Barca? 2004. Last time a team won English league other then Man U/Chelsea? 2004.
Whats that got to do with the quality of the league. You can't argue that the premierleague is the best in the world, its the most watched and the toughest to compete in. Barcelona are the best team in europe without a doubt but they play warm up matches everyweek.
@johnboy14 In my opinion it has a lot to do with the quality of a league. The most important part of football are the fans and in England, fans are treated like shit. Just my 2 cents......
@craigcraigycrag 99-00 Manchester United // Deportivo De La Corüna ---- 00–01 Manchester United // Real Madrid ---- 01–02 Arsenal // Valencia ---- 02–03 Manchester United // Real Madrid ---- 03–04 Arsenal // Valencia ---- 04–05 Chelsea // Barcelona ---- 05–06 Chelsea // Barcelona ---- 06–07 Manchester United // Real Madrid ---- 07–08 Manchester United // Real Madrid ---- 08–09 Manchester United // Barcelona ---- 09–10 Chelsea // Barcelona ---- 10–11 Manchester United // Barcelona
@craigcraigycrag I really don't think the Premier League is the best. I think it's better than the Italian right now but not better than the Spanish. You may say it's a two horse race but since 2000 there has been three champions in the premier (Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea) while in Spain there has been 4 (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Deportivo la Coruna). Besides RM and Barca are better than any team from the premier league
@accountsample1 Deportivo are fucking related, it was a one off, like Blackburn! thats like saying Leeds, who were close to winning the EPL are still about. Valencia compete with minimal resources still, but as their CL standings show they are not as strong as Arsenal/Chelsea/United/MCity. The fact Barca and RM are so strong right now is why the league is worse, not enough competition. Look at the scores for those two sides compared to others. What chance do others have? None... £££
@mgeorge733 have you watched the champions league lately? ManU and city as not as strong now as you might think. We're talking about the current champion and the current leader sent home already. Second, yes it is truth at this point none have any chance as the gap between the runners up and the third place is increasing but that doesn't make it any less of an attraction. I rather see two strong teams competing than 3 "not so strong" struggling.
@accountsample1 Thats why the league is like that... the best players go there for success, chosing one of the two because its almost guaranteed due to the dominance of RM and Barca. In England's league you have at least 3 or 4 teams capable to taking the title, so it is more competitive. Man City were unlucky not to qualify with their points total, You cannot say theyre not strong, look at them domestically so far! also United would put up a better challenge to RM/BCL than most teams in the CL
@mgeorge733 besides, if the criteria to determine the best league was based just on on the amount of teams with possibilities to win then the Mexican would be the best as I hear they have a new champion every now and then. There's more than that - there's international team success, individual success, audience, and influence and at all those the Spanish league is better. (more CL titles, more balon d'or winners, Messi and CR7 influence, audience is higher), and yes money also "£££"
@accountsample1 Ridiculous comment. Brasil..The most successful on the world stage producing some of the best players of all time but has a weaker domestic league. The Bundesliga has huge average attendances, the Premier League is the most viewed league worldwide. The success of RM/BCL comes down to money, and they are in huge debts because of that. If you want to see how a club should be run successfully WITHIN its means while competing with the very best, look at Barca's feeder club, Arsenal.
@mgeorge733 Last season RM came with 450million euros out of profit. How in the world did you get RM is in debt when they came higher than ManU last season? And what's so bad about spending money on top players? ManU and Arsenal are playing the same roles as River Plate, Boca Jr, and Santos - helping out forming good players to sell them to RM and Barca - helping them get stronger and more popular making the Spanish league more popular.
@accountsample1 Teams like Arsenal and ManU make players and then go to RM to be burnt off, dont u dare say we make them for you, the Premier League is argueably the best division in the world, why would players want to go and get burnt off (Owen, Khedira, Alonso) Arsenal and United are two of the best clubs in the world, we make players, not make to sell
@TheEnglishMaestro10 ignore the troll - Premier League is by far the most watched in the world, not to mention the richest. probably because there are a lot of good teams, rather than just two.
Richest? Its one of the Leagues with the highets debts in europe.EPL has a lot of good Teams but Italy too (Napoli vs Man C proved it).And spain has the 2 best Teams. If i would have to bet on a team wich will win the CL it wouldnt be a english one.
@mgeorge733 It would be really disappointing to be a ManU or Arsenal fan and watch my teams unable to retain players like Beckham, CR7, VanGoal, Cesc or Henry, showing qualities of a weak institution. I know ManU is still the richest club in the world but far from being the best. RM considered by fifa the most successful of the 20th century (until 2001) soon to have their galactics era and be replaced by Barca. Where are the strong competitive teams from the premier?
@accountsample1 I'm an Arsenal fan but I understand the reasons when Fabregas and others leave for the right reasons. I'm not in favour of either league, i'm just arguing a point. All those players were already well-established and world famous, successful, even record breakers, by the time they left EPL. El Clasico has the highest for one game, but the Premier League is the most watched league in the world. 450m was revenue, NOT profit! check your facts about income/debt. Honestly, check them.
@mgeorge733 and you need to check your facts about tv ratings regarding the premier and spanish league, just a Match between RM and Barca is more watched than the whole premier. Honestly, go check tv ratings.
@craigcraigycrag The Spanish League has a good level. Valencia, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and now even Malaga are good team, that would be fighting for a Champions' place in the Premier League.
The problem is that Real and Barca are otherworldly. Release them both in any league and they would be the first and seconds every time, with a huge difference from the third. Even Man City and Man Utd can't take them in a League. They are far too regular.
@craigcraigycrag What is the point of having the best League in the world if you cannot produce class players. The whole league thing is to produce home grown talent, and yet England never has any. Spanish and Italian not the best and yet they produce class players. I believe the league that produces home grown talent is the best in the world not the one that buys everyone from outside. The entire Spanish squad is an example. The clubs invested on Youth academies and look what they have now.
@craigcraigycrag Since the Premier League has been in existence there has been 5 different La Liga (Span) winners. That's more teams than have won the EPL.
@OlofDreijer By one 1 team! Both Liverpool and Newcastle were with a few points of winning the league also were it not for Arsenal/Manchester finishing strongly. Compare the past few seasons since the big money has been spent in both leagues. Its a no-contest for the other 18 teams in Spain really, and in terms of performances because of that, this seasons Goal Difference already shows that La Liga is becoming like the Scottish Leage! Hence why you get all the pathetic Messi/CR fanboys on here!
@spicyxlilxman didn't you see? that guy was half way through tackling him. it was an incredible piece of skill to do it that quick and use it in a game situation than just do skills for fun.

@tigeredo ibrahimovic isnt good enough to clean ronaldo boots. he flopped at barca thats why he had to go back to that second rate itallian league
craigcraigycrag 3 months ago
@craigcraigycragthat second rate Italian league is the league in which Ronaldo performed this elastico. Also, Barca has only beaten teams from that second rate Italian league once in the past 4 years. Ibra haters like you clearly dont understand football. And Ibra didnt flop at Barca, he just wasnt suited the Barca style of play. The same way Messi has only scored 1 goal in the past 2 years for Argentina. Flop?
supernova487 3 months ago
@supernova487 point taken but the English Premier league is the best league in the world. Serie A was the best years ago but its not now. and the Spanish League is a two-horse race every season. besides barca and madrid no one else can win it....
craigcraigycrag 3 months ago 32
@craigcraigycrag Barcelona and Real Madrid would probably turn any league into a two-horse race atm. EPL is more "competitive" because of billionaires buying clubs, not because it's a 'better' league. EPL has been won by Man Utd for 12/19 seasons of the modern league, how very competitive. Chelsea and Arsenal won 3 each. Out of the 3 Chelsea (a billionaire owned club) Arsenal placed 2nd once and Man Utd twice. Now top 3 clubs are Man City Man Utd and Chelsea. 2 r billionaire owned.
tahwyasaggin 2 months ago
@tahwyasaggin but you have to agree the EPL is MORE exciting than the La Liga! Madrid and Barca are TOO far ahead of the rest of the teams in that league! its turning it like the Scottish league where only Rangers and Celtic can win it... i dont think its fair that Barca and Madrid have there own TV right, which enables them more cash to spend than the other club in there league. I'd take the EPL over La Liga anyday. if you look at the Madrid team its full of guys who made there name in the EPL
craigcraigycrag 2 months ago
@craigcraigycrag no I don't agree the EPL is "more" exciting than La Liga. That's why I watch Spanish football. I like the league's overall style. Ok again with the TV rights... it doesn't really matter. I told you already, the competition Manchester Utd has is not because of TV $ but thanks to outside sources. Without Chelsea and Manchester City who does Man U have that can really contend for the title now? Arsenal hahaha, Liverpool and Totenham? lol Now Malaga will become the Spanish Chelsea.
tahwyasaggin 2 months ago
@tahwyasaggin You laugh but spurs, liverpool and arsenal could all come 2nd or 3rd in la liga. La ligs is such boring football its unreal. Any team against Barca just admit defeat before ive seen it. In the EPL every team goes for a win and thats why its so good to watch. Newcastle are a clear example of that this season. They are sitting 3rd in the table only 1 point behind Man Utd.
94aman94 2 months ago
@94aman94 speculation... that's all it is. I could say both Madrid and Barca could finish 1st and 2nd in the EPL. So your opinion for entertainment is universal? Everybody has your taste? For me it's not boring. They just give up? lol. That's why Barcelona tied with Sociedad, Sevilla, Valencia. And was only able to pull off 1-0 wins against Granada and Sporting de Gijon? How about Real Madrid? They lost to Levante (3rd=NC), tied against Racing and won 1-0 against Sociedad. So much for giving up.
tahwyasaggin 2 months ago
@94aman94 thats cuz the major teams like liverpool and arsenal have been flopping. even chelsea at times. anyways this is still the begining of the season so you cant judge how well newcastle will do overall
you say liga isnt competitive look at athletico last year which won the europa league, it had to beat english teams like liverpool to win it but in la liga they were 7th place. dont talk about anything without knowing the statistics, and im not even a fan of la liga
921milanista 2 months ago

Are you one of those ignorant fools that don't know the word "Soccer" was coined in England?
tahwyasaggin 2 months ago
@tahwyasaggin you just explained it perfectly rather than just using your own biased system of judgement.
921milanista 2 months ago
@craigcraigycrag And the english league isn't the same? For years England has been a two team league (Man U and Chelsea) and is only different this year because of arab money at man city. Last time a team won La liga other then Real/Barca? 2004. Last time a team won English league other then Man U/Chelsea? 2004.
TheJimbobs123 2 months ago
@craigcraigycrag The PL is a two horse race as well at the moment, just city and utd.
TheSilentBoom 2 months ago
@TheSilentBoom maybe but it won't end up like la liga will with a 35 point gap between 2nd and 3rd

@Tomasch
Whats that got to do with the quality of the league. You can't argue that the premierleague is the best in the world, its the most watched and the toughest to compete in. Barcelona are the best team in europe without a doubt but they play warm up matches everyweek.
johnboy14 1 month ago
@johnboy14 In my opinion it has a lot to do with the quality of a league. The most important part of football are the fans and in England, fans are treated like shit. Just my 2 cents......

Besides RM and Barca are better than any team from the premier league
accountsample1 1 month ago
@accountsample1 Deportivo are fucking related, it was a one off, like Blackburn! thats like saying Leeds, who were close to winning the EPL are still about. Valencia compete with minimal resources still, but as their CL standings show they are not as strong as Arsenal/Chelsea/United/MCity. The fact Barca and RM are so strong right now is why the league is worse, not enough competition. Look at the scores for those two sides compared to others. What chance do others have? None... £££
mgeorge733 1 month ago
@mgeorge733 have you watched the champions league lately? ManU and city as not as strong now as you might think. We're talking about the current champion and the current leader sent home already. Second, yes it is truth at this point none have any chance as the gap between the runners up and the third place is increasing but that doesn't make it any less of an attraction. I rather see two strong teams competing than 3 "not so strong" struggling.
accountsample1 1 month ago
@accountsample1 Thats why the league is like that... the best players go there for success, chosing one of the two because its almost guaranteed due to the dominance of RM and Barca. In England's league you have at least 3 or 4 teams capable to taking the title, so it is more competitive. Man City were unlucky not to qualify with their points total, You cannot say theyre not strong, look at them domestically so far! also United would put up a better challenge to RM/BCL than most teams in the CL
mgeorge733 1 month ago
@mgeorge733 besides, if the criteria to determine the best league was based just on on the amount of teams with possibilities to win then the Mexican would be the best as I hear they have a new champion every now and then. There's more than that - there's international team success, individual success, audience, and influence and at all those the Spanish league is better. (more CL titles, more balon d'or winners, Messi and CR7 influence, audience is higher), and yes money also "£££"
accountsample1 1 month ago
@accountsample1 Ridiculous comment. Brasil..The most successful on the world stage producing some of the best players of all time but has a weaker domestic league. The Bundesliga has huge average attendances, the Premier League is the most viewed league worldwide. The success of RM/BCL comes down to money, and they are in huge debts because of that. If you want to see how a club should be run successfully WITHIN its means while competing with the very best, look at Barca's feeder club, Arsenal.
mgeorge733 1 month ago
@mgeorge733 Last season RM came with 450million euros out of profit. How in the world did you get RM is in debt when they came higher than ManU last season? And what's so bad about spending money on top players? ManU and Arsenal are playing the same roles as River Plate, Boca Jr, and Santos - helping out forming good players to sell them to RM and Barca - helping them get stronger and more popular making the Spanish league more popular.
accountsample1 1 month ago
@accountsample1 Teams like Arsenal and ManU make players and then go to RM to be burnt off, dont u dare say we make them for you, the Premier League is argueably the best division in the world, why would players want to go and get burnt off (Owen, Khedira, Alonso) Arsenal and United are two of the best clubs in the world, we make players, not make to sell
TheEnglishMaestro10 1 month ago
@TheEnglishMaestro10 ignore the troll - Premier League is by far the most watched in the world, not to mention the richest. probably because there are a lot of good teams, rather than just two.
optimuskgb 1 month ago
@optimuskgb
Richest? Its one of the Leagues with the highets debts in europe.EPL has a lot of good Teams but Italy too (Napoli vs Man C proved it).And spain has the 2 best Teams. If i would have to bet on a team wich will win the CL it wouldnt be a english one.
herold1985 1 month ago
@mgeorge733 It would be really disappointing to be a ManU or Arsenal fan and watch my teams unable to retain players like Beckham, CR7, VanGoal, Cesc or Henry, showing qualities of a weak institution. I know ManU is still the richest club in the world but far from being the best. RM considered by fifa the most successful of the 20th century (until 2001) soon to have their galactics era and be replaced by Barca. Where are the strong competitive teams from the premier?
accountsample1 1 month ago
@accountsample1 I'm an Arsenal fan but I understand the reasons when Fabregas and others leave for the right reasons. I'm not in favour of either league, i'm just arguing a point. All those players were already well-established and world famous, successful, even record breakers, by the time they left EPL. El Clasico has the highest for one game, but the Premier League is the most watched league in the world. 450m was revenue, NOT profit! check your facts about income/debt. Honestly, check them.

@mgeorge733 im not even going to bother asking why you guys are talking about this on a video of zidane doing the elastico
malcom425 1 month ago

PatentApplied 1 month ago
@craigcraigycrag yea i agree....i think the best league at moment is the bundasliga...its better than epl in my opinion
MrTrillionaires 1 month ago
