  • That is not an industrial. Not even close

  • Hmm, no links allowed on You Tube? it's blog.sew-classicdotcom

  • Beautiful Singer but it is not an industrial machine, it's a HOME sewing machine. Many people call these old home machines industrial when they're not. It's a marketing gimmick by ignorant or dishonest sellers and Ebayers-don't mean you Tara! I assume it was just an honest mistake. They weren't designed to sew heavy sail cloth, leather or multiple layers as some claim. This excellent site explains the difference:

  • Omg, you killing the presser foot! lift the presserfot if u dont have any fabric under it..

  • I have a Singer 99K. It is a cool little machine. It is smaller than most Singers, but still nice. But, there is nothing industrial about it. It is just an average, all metal, vintage, home sewing machine, made back when things were built to last. Mine was a bargain at $15 with the original stand and attachments. It looked about like the one in this video, and it cleaned up great. $50 is considered a fair price for this model if it is in good working condition.
