I played Shining Force on the GBA. Sadly I wasn't impressed at all, nothing unique about it in the slightest and hardly no story. I agree on the art too. The original Suikoden looked similar, which was an initial turn off. But I stuck it out with that series anyway.

@ExireHG The Shining Force for the GBA is just a remake of the first, most if not all who have played both prefer the orignal. The one that has really great music is Shining Force CD

I really dislike all of that concept art and box art for the Shining Force 1 & 2. It just looks too creepy to be real. O_o More attractive with the gameplay shots. :D

@Feedmadcat well theres two diffrent designs...the one you see on this page is the u.s version thats why the charecters look white and the art work seems very western like..go to the japan looks more bright and happy..

I dont know if its me... but the first time we see Mitula with this music its kind of "bare bones". But when she shows up after the final battle with Zeon the music is higher quality with more parts to it.

Can anyone agree or disagree with this statement?

@awall017 There is definitely a difference. I recorded both a good while back and compared. The first is more flute-like, the other is more melodic.

This is probably my second favorite arrangement from the album. Warriors of the Reviving light is pretty bad ass too.
