  • judo and jujutsu would be very useful in a street fight

people don't realize that you're most likely gonna have a shirt on

one of these throws can end a fight, no matter how developed your core muscles are

concrete and cement do you no good

  • i got expelled for doing the second one on a bully

  • if judo people are so tough why dont they smash my face in the keybardnjffhjkhffghjjggfrt trdgf bv jfgjnhkbfn gbhjn8yfgkbmcuioklnif8ybguthi8fno bgghgfg

  • judo have actually mad my day manny times in school... when i was in class 5c it came 2 kids from 7a and tried to like, punch me right in the face or something... i throwed the 1st one down, and then the 2nd tried to kick me in the face when i did a armbar on both of the at the same time... it worked :DDDDDDDD and noow i will be leaved alone untill the 9e gets me

    ... i was 11years by the way

    thanks to judo! :D

  • judo rocks. great posting.

  • I did Judo then i took an arrow to the knee then i took the bitch out and kept doing it to this day!!!!

  • @AXTJudoStarz lol i find some of the "Arrow to the knee" jokes funny but kinda repetitive

  • fuck this makes me ant to start again

  • @getatmegamer same for me, this video is so damn inspiring

  • @Chiragana cool video

  • judo a great sport:X

  • Wow this is crazy, im watching a guy do a front flip with another guy on his back, judo is awesome !:D

  • judo is so fluent ive been practising since i was 9 and im now 16 with a brown belt not that it matters its a great combo with some other mma

  • i'm a boxer

but i have to say i really love judo

  • I THREW IT ON THE GROUND!!!

  • ninjutsu ftw ownage

  • jujitsu is a mixture of judo karate and kung fu

  • its like toribash but in real life :D

  • Great video, well made..

  • song name please :>

  • @DuhuKaralius It's "it my life"

  • Koga owns seoi nage

  • The best is uchi mata ... thumb up if you agree

  • How can anybody say anything but good things about this fantastic martial art.For me one of the best in the world.

  • Thumbs up if you can do every single move on here perfectly.! THUMBS UP.!

  • Judo = Sport. That's crap...man you throw someone like that on the street. Broken collar bones, shoulders, ribs...I hate being thrown. This is a great MARTIAL ART. Not just some sport.

  • its great pal, even i dont know judo,i will try to understand it because its is cool, but i want to combine judo and jujutsu, ^_^

  • @garuga123456 I know what you mean. I'm really trying to mix my boxing in with my taekwondo. I think it'd be a great combination.

  • @garuga123456 the creator of Judo thought of Judo by doing Jujutsu so i don't know about that

  • @garuga123456 you can t because the judo is take from jiu jitsu

  • @willwoshfan other way around dude

  • @garuga123456 judo came from jujutsu.

  • @garuga123456 well i wish you good luck with that! because jujutsu surely got some throws but its not based on it so combine them will be very difficult!

  • @arcaniagothic2 They're a pair of the easiest martial arts to combine, everything you learn in judo is excellent for ji jitsu as well (not always the other way around though)

Judo makes your throws a lot better than typical ji-jitsu classes teach you.

  • @garuga123456 dude! combine judo and ju jutsu? Judo came from ju jitsu! But judo focusing at more explosive throw. But was funny with ur comment bro :D

  • @garuga123456 and sambo and wrestling :P

  • @garuga123456 thats wat i do! its very fun do man u will love it!

  • @garuga123456 very good idea on the combining because a judo throw leading to a choke is deadly and amazing if you pull it off perfectly

  • I like how they all stay on the ground after they got thrown lol

"I have discrased my familys honor!"

  • Judo is Best sport :) my favourite techniques: Soto Makikomi, O soto gari, Taiotoshi, Ashi Uchi Mata, Ippon seoi nage and Ko Uchi makikomi :)

  • @TheAggir there good aint they :)

  • so judo is all about fall

  • @devilasskicker not necessarily, "judo is all about practicing and conditioning your mind and body" as stated by the father of judo, professor Jigaro Kano

  • @xXEPICSCREAMXx oh i meant is judo all about making opponent fall

  • @devilasskicker in some senses i guess you could say that, but in my opinion its a passion and a lifestyle sooooo, judo has many factor so its not just on about one thing so nobody can really say anything.

  • @xXEPICSCREAMXx thanks for telling me that and final question, lets say im 1m73, if i learn judo can i beat a 1m85 tall guy( hes a little fat too)

  • @devilasskicker defiantly, using the right technique and tactics you can floor somebody no matter how big they are, but this will take some time.... in my weight division im pretty much a midget yet im flooring people all the time, im 5"6 and the people i fight are 6"5+ and im flooring them easily. but this will take some time of practising with taller people, belive me the hardest person to defeat in judo is a good judoka himself who belives he can win also when fighting shorter be more aware

  • Tomoenage Epic technique :D

  • you win. just for putting a bon jovi song with martial arts <3

  • my favorite judo technique is the one where you throw your opponnet

  • @MilitiaOfBlood323 ipon seo nagi?

  • @markyp27 nah its joke you know 67 official throws and what not

  • @MilitiaOfBlood323 ipon seoi nage?

  • tai otoshi, morote seoi nage, osoto gari my favorite moves

  • o soto gari, most basic throw of them all but still deadly.... just proves even a white belt with 4 months of training can kill someone if they train hard enough

  • /dude nice video and music!! ROCK ON WOOOOOH!!! AND I LIKE JUDO

  • Increíble

  • ive allways wanted to learn judo even the basics are verry usfull such as the easy arm bars they will drop an unsuspecting enemy in seconds well if the person dosent know any martial arts

  • @T0H0E0G0A0M0E ah cool, i was thinking of training at a muay thai gym see because i thought it would be something new, i train outside the gym aswell see and got into my national squad, you in any teams for muay thai?

  • @T0H0E0G0A0M0E all training wears everybody out and no form of combat mixture if perfect, anybody could mess you up if its not the right combo or style for you.... like me i do boxing and judo and im top orange and done it all my life and its saved my ass in many a street fight, i can cope training judo but cannot stand boxing but thats just me. i think its cool you do muay thai tho, isnt it some sort of asian kickboxing?

  • 2:38 = EPIC!!!!!!!

  • I would think that dislocated shoulders would be the main injury that people got while performing judo? It really is almost beautiful they way they gracefully throw each other though. I am gonna start taking classes next month and i can't wait!

  • are broken necks a common occurrence in this sport? I know these are professionals, but it would seem that when your adrenaline is pumping in the olympics, you'll do whatever it takes to win and safety goes out the window.

  • @duvalinhn Not so much... The first thing you learn in judo is how to break your fall and land properly. Practice is usually a lot of throws -- both being thrown and throwing. It's assumed that over time you become an expert at a few of your favorite throws, but you also have an intimate understanding of being thrown. Judo breakfalls become natural and feel exactly like falling normally.

  • @mrgreyshadow very cool! from the few videos I've seen, the throws always look very graceful, but during the falls, it seems like there are a lot of close calls, hence my question. it makes it more impressive to know that all their moves are very calculated and they have developed cat-like reflexes. thanks a bunch for the info!

  • @duvalinhn No problem! Judo is sort of a martial art, but it's mostly a competitive sport. The judo tradition is that of the, "gentle way" because other styles like karate and jiu jitsu were conducive to broken arms, legs, sprains... things of that nature. So judo was derived from the grappling and throwing bits of jiu jitsu, but with none of the blunt force. You also wear a heavy cotton uniform that holds your weight. This is to prevent injury and encourage a sport rather than aimless brawling.

  • @mrgreyshadow so students of all skill levels practice throws on each other and EXPECT to be thrown.. It isn't a matter of poor skill to be thrown in practice, and it's even recognized as helpful. Since we all learn breakfalls and the sport is designed to avoid injuries frequent in the other styles, injuries aren't as common. But if you don't practice often and try to cut corners or be lazy -- throwing or falling -- you risk injury. Olympic judoka are definitely safer than the newer judoka.

  • GENTLE WAY :> what a name.

  • TAI OTOISH! 2:14

  • I love this sport to death, I love the music to the video as well, what is the song called?

  • @misamisa2222 it's my life - bonjovi

  • @F91yzg

Thank you so much. I knew what it was I just couldn't get the song name to come to me, it's been killing me for weeks.

  • looks horrible.my oppinion.so don't reply bad, because u THINK its better. Also looks so damn painful.like wtf someone falls over u even after u were already thrown down...

  • @daverave121212 When you are a man thats not that hurtful.

  • they should do it in slow motion

  • What's this song called?

  • @deannag24 It's My Life by Bon Jovi

  • -.- nowadays judo sucks it used to be for self defence now its just for some shitty points at competitions

  • nice video, but in a real life fight, u need to be learning muay thai, this is the ultimate marial art for street fighting.

in a real life fight, you need to damage and hurt your opponent ,

  • @LA56VVF

Actually, you need both. Muay Thai is great, but it is sorely lacking in the throw & submission department, both things which can be extremely useful if you don't want to spend time in the monkey house. You will see that in MMA, (which is the closest to the conditions of street fighting as it gets) nobody goes very far with a solid ground in other discipline.

  • @LA56VVF hurt? i assume you've never been thrown

  • @somethingandahalf Try throwing somebody on a busy train, bus, dance-floor, etc etc, wotcha gonna grab if your opponent is wearing a t-shirt or less ?

Better to strike hard and hurt, ask any doorman or pro fighter what works best, when it kicks off

  • @LA56VVF haha, yes, you got a point but thats nothing new. also you seem to be forgetting that if im training judo that doesnt mean i am restricted to use striking you know. the other one.. most of the techniques can be done without a gi but they become a lot harder though. anyway you try kicking someone to the head on a bus or train or dancefloor? its not what style you train its how you adapt to different situations

  • @LA56VVF throwing neutralizes the opponent, even more with submission knowledge.

They grab by the gi but mostly they grab the body, easily adapted, it works to grow the instinctive judo.

  • 39 people got thrown... then choaked...

  • @IMsuperDUPERable I got thrown.... then choaked..... damn.......

  • uchi mata is the best! :D

  • its nice!!!!!!

  • i do that

  • judo + bjj one of the deadliest combosxD

  • 38 people got beat by someone who knows judo.

  • whats this one called(i think it is judo)- You have both there arms and u put your foot on their thigh and catapult them over u?

  • @iiiiiiiiiXviiiiiiiii Tomoe Nage

  • im a wrestler (highschool wrestler) an i love grappling cant get enough of it but i am currently learning greco which is somewhat similar hah but i wana mix judowith wrestling becauuse it would be a deadly combination hah

  • 2:39

    Destroyed

  • Why do they always mess up these highlights with the music???

  • what martial arts do ninja's do?

  • @Linnavoisk Just for the hell of it.

    Tobijitsu art of jumping

    Kenjitsu swordsmanship

    Jujitsu not the Brazillian kind

    Ninjitsu their bag o tricks

And alchemy. It varies depending on what era you're asking about, but they're the basics.

  • I don't practice judo, I study Aikido. Being this as it is, I have no experience with Judo. What is the difference between sporting judo (contests) and "real" training judo (in a dojo)?

  • @StormbringerStudios competion !

  • @StormbringerStudios if I understand what youmean, judo training consists of 3 sections, Kata, Randori, And Shiai, andso sport judo is part of dojo, Kata includes repetition of techniques in the form of "fitting in" for a throw or also "throw for throw" type training&the katas of Judo, while Randori,is free practice, moving around with a live opponant, seeing what happens and exploring opportunities,Shiai/sport,is where you practice against a fully resistant opponant to ensure your moves can work.

  • Love it on 3:09 !!

  • Love the song.

    love the sport.

Thank you Jigoro Kano for creating such an awesome sport.

    Judo Diva ForEver <3 :)

  • Классно

  • tamonage is the best but hard to get.

  • Judo = Great! BonJovi = Crap!

Stop putting Bonjovi in Judo videos!

  • I always liked leg throws, Uchimata and Tai otoshi were always favorites of mine.

  • @888greg888 Tai otoshi is a hand throw

  • @whatsmallham Well, you know what I mean. I'm 6'5". It works well for me because of the leg part. Then again... Haven't done Judo in years now.

  • Question....if you do wrestling, greco-roman, freestyle and such.....is it almost the same as doing moves in judo or its different?

  • I like Morote Seoi Nage.

  • Judo is THE BEST !! :D

  • sick throws i do krav maga and wanna try judo

  • @Darkrobit1Avou

    Football the best sport

  • @jsvalino NO !

  • @Darkrobit1Avou

Maybe to you, but the rest of the world football is best sport and can never be dethroned.

  • i bet i can beat you in judo just saying ive been going for 7 years now.

  • JIGORO KANO founder of judo the best fighting technique!

  • Judo is the best!

  • Oh holy...... Those kicks to the balls o.o

  • Are Judo throws legal in BJJ?

  • Judo is not just a sport, its a way of life!

  • how can 38 people hate judo come on

  • my favourite throws those days in competitions at the YMCA Judo Club in 60s

  • More video like this, please ! :)

  • This would be nice with Jiu Jitsu

It helps take things to the ground :P

  • Is Kata Guruma still legal? I thought they banned throws with arms below the belt

  • This is really awsum :D

Some of the techniques i can do, but not as good as these people :P

Might be because I'm only 14

  • @specialforces69

I completely agree with what your saying in theory. But if you think about it 90 percent of people who do just one martial art. like bjj or judo, or boxing etc. are white or blue belt (or beginners) and for the most part it still is teaching them a lot when it comes to just the basic way of fighting, or handling your opponent.

  • Seoi Nage Koga! =))

  • Judo + Jujitsu woulld better. Anyone that knows judo can throw someone around but u need to know how to finish/submit them

  • @ribbs06 wouldn't that be like Krav Maga?

  • @ribbs06 judo's ground game is emplemented with traditional jiu jitsu

  • @ribbs06 that statement is so wrong in so many ways

  • Awesome video dude!!!! A+!!! I want to try Judo after watching this!!!

  • That's really cool, but there was not kata-guruma at 3:24 and 3:38 :)

"After a study by the Kodokan Research Institute (April 1, 1997), it was decided that this technique is related to uki-wazaand not kata-guruma, because the concept of the throw is based on the principle of yoko-sutemi-waza." [from Toshiro Daigo 'Kodokan Judo Throwing Techniques']

In Russian SAMBO its' name "BODOK".

  • Choke or lock, you do a submission silly =)

  • judo, es judo, lo maximo, me encanta, desde nino, lo practique en cuba. ( por cierto era muy malo, en el judo) pero me fascina

  • IMMA SO GONNA LEARN JUDO!

  • @mag3b0yxxx

it's not as easy as it looks, you can't just "go and learn" judo, it takes years of practice!

  • @SmileyGeorgie How can anyone possibly think this loops easy?

  • @bowlslaw I really don't know, obviously the people who think it have no idea what judo consists of! :)

  • excelente el video muy buena recolpilacion pero lastima que el kata guruma directo ya no sea valido

  • GREAT VIDEO BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE WATCHED THIS BEFORE BED!

  • Yeah, now try that shit on the parking lot concrete!!!!
