you have sort of answered your own question, but let me lay it out for you......... westminster are the only council in london to charge bikes , the only city in the uk to charge bikes ,the only city in the whole of europe to charge bikes .... the city is congested , 40% of the congestion is single occupancy cars , if these were encouraged to use motorcycles and scooters the congestion would suddenly drop , buses would move , delivery s cheaper, bikes are the answer not the problem

What makes you think just because your on a bike your exempt from parking charges??? Its still a vehicle and you still want to park it in a very congested city.......so you should pay!! I agree with Boris!
