I love the show Medium. I love the family aspect that they show. I love how the character Allison DuBois is based on the actual person. It shows how people with this kind of gift might live.

Patricia needs to win another Emmy for this character. This show, though about a medium, is so normal, 3 dimensional, and really not all about a medium at all. It's about the situation at hand and everything that goes along with it. It is also about every character on the show, not just one. Everyone does a great job on this show. Again, NBC lets another good one bite the dust, and CBS was ever so happy to pick it up. As long as it is still on, I don't care (except the lighting, NBC had that).

He said it was inspired by Allison DuBois. According to Randy Jay Bailin, a friend of Allison DuBois's, Medium is based on Christine Atwell. That's why Patricia Arquette dyes her brown hair blonde, not red. Christine had blonde hair.
