Mmmm. This is one of the best scenes, if not the best scene in the movie. I don't know HOW Mike Wallace could be mad about the way Plummer portrayed him. He should have won an award based on this meltdown alone.
Notice the weight Wallace carries in the room--by the time he says "Where the hell's the rest?" at medium volume you can hear a leaf blow.
When he goes off and Ned Ryerson and Gina Gershon's lawyer it is an all time tantrum.
Great expressions and body language by the usually tough as nails Gershon, too--at the end she looks like a beaten fighter that is leaning into the ropes
"You corporate lackey--who told you your incompetent little fingers had the requisite skills to edit me!"

"Try MISTER Wallace". Best line, and Gina Gershorn (sp) makes an excellent corporate scumbag lickspittle. Her prettiness makes it all the more evil.

I find it interesting that Christopher Plummer starred on both The Insider and Inside Man. Weird huh?

As StephenCone asked, does anyone know the name of the song that plays during the airing of the altered segment and peaks at 6:00-6:20?
Thanks.
