Seems like when someone says: I don't have to say anything more, often as not will.......this video is so cool....well worth your 6:03 of your time...............
Designated spokesperson for all white people here. Actually, we have invented our own music. Haven't you ever heard of Muzak? Haven't you ever heard of classical music? What about bluegrass?
It's just we don't play the music we invented because it sucks. I mean, if the music you invented sucked, wouldn't you play somebody elses? Better to be some kind of musical thief than to play crap.
wat a quality jam. didn't know who paul thorn is but i rate him now. he was jokin bout thats the guy who tught john lennon to play the harmonica wasn't he ?!?! ganster of love is a timeless tuuuuuune tho. 5*
It is an urban legend that that guy, Delbert McClinton, taught John Lennon how to play the harmonica. They did meet though and John may have picked up a few things from him. But Lennon knew how to play long before he met Delbert.
I too didn't know who Paul Thorn is, but for him to be on the stage with legends like Elvin Bishop and Delbert McClinton he is pretty danged good. I believe this jam proves it too.
steve miller wrote this?.............they call him the gangster of love cuz he's a sinner and a midnight toker but he definately did not write this song.......lmao!
Agreed. Back in '80, in Greeensboro, NC- we were on the tables when he finished up w/ a harp finish (at 2am)in a little 200 person or less bar. He rode in late for the show in an oil burning bus. The man is beyond human-resilant to say the least-I hope, and know, he will live forever.....
JGW`s tune o-oooh nice cover, keep on ** i like this. god bless you and this band JGW he was an awesome artist. love him since i was 12, performed with him "ain`t that a bitch" in 1980 at a little gig in biberach an der riß in germany. never forget this. rip thx olli
