  • Great to see the line being rebuilt...why can't NR do this and reopen some more much needed lines????

  • Actually I thought it was hypnotic rather than boring. I suppose the guys who do these kind of jobs get into a way of working so they can anticipate each other's actions.

  • row!

  • what happened to the great promise that all the rubbish would be moved by rail?i see that was quietly "disposed" of!

  • @samgreen47 Presume you've now seen that's exactly what we are doing...

  • It's not often that a forty year old tip is excavated so fully. I'd be interested to know the state of the various types of material being unearthed, particularly the plastics.

  • Really excellent, especially how the two diggers manage to keep out of each others way! Found anything interesting yet? I noticethat some of the rubbish has kept its colour well - amazing.

  • Great stuff, hope you can get to EG asap. The £250 was too much for me as a student but I may buy some xmas presents from the line to help out.

  • Cool! I am sure that the Bluebell appriciate any help.

I am not a spokesperson for the Bluebell, I just like photography and Steam. I only know what can be found on the official website. See my stills at Panaramio /user/2111260

  • Pity the rail option died a death; as was the practise at the beginning of the push from kingscote. Was this due to practicability plus will this mean that the diesel object will go back home soon so that Normandy will be repaired just a tad quicker?

  • Lets hope the Diesel goes home soon. I am not a spokesperson for the Bluebell, I just like photography and Steam. I only know what can be found on the official website. See my stills at Panaramio /user/2111260

  • What a load of rubbish... sorry couldnt resist, Its great to see the Blubell is finally getting somewhere, its been too long!

  • Hehe, it is good that a start has been made.

  • Yes I know this has to be the worlds most boring video, but it may give people some idea of the scale of the work to be undertaken, and the manner in which it is being done.
