Can't believe I've never heard this song "This Time" and such a lovely version of "I Can't Stop Loving You"...Loved his voice in 68-69....well always, but it was different at all ages. His voice had a very special tender quality to it at this time. Love this video!
I guess God wanted you to perform for him, and that is why he summoned you to heaven on August 16, 1977.
You were, are, and forever will be THE KING! But it brings me happiness to know that you are in a better place. So long King!....................until we meet again.
Don Gibson, who wrote and sang this song reminds me of Hank Williams.....Don was having problems with everything you can imagine...drugs, alcohol, women..you name it. It was during this period that he wrote such great songs as "A Legend in my Time"...he later got his life under control and never wrote anything else worth recording. Hank wrote from pain too.
très bonne version du KING !!!
