The Mariposa Battalion sure did find Chief Tenaya and his Band of Paiutes at Pa wiack now called Tenaya Lake. This where they shot Tenaya's son in the back. Tenaya said to the Yokut scout, They would have never found us if it wasnt for you Chow Chitty. Today there is a sign in the Indian village declaring Chow chitty was a famous Miwok bow maker. Yosemite National Park fails the correct history.

The best time to visit Yosemite is during the summer. The winter is too cold.
