i remember that! it was a big storm. my dad and i snowblowed for like 5 hours doing our ally, driveway, neighbors and the sidewalks in front of our house!!!
yeah that was nasty, my mom got on the front page of the newspaper with a picture of her shoveling. You pass by my house though, and It's fun to see my house when it was like that. = )
I'll remember that blizzard forever, I live on park point and it was just nasty. My mom got on the front page of the newspaper though with a picture of her shoveling. = p
i remember that storm we were snowed in for a day the snow reached to the top of the roof to our house i could climb on top of the house and jump off anyways i kinda miss the storms like that
ya that storm was the shit and it was way worse in two harbors, i spent all day plowing driveways and shoveling out and it looked way worse that park point/canal areah : /
the storm was great but i still had to drive over the bridge to work that night. my co-worker had to break down a drift a the foot of the bridge with his truck to get on the bridge. I'm glad i didn't go first with the wife's suv.
I had so much fun in that storm. All of the employees at the Inn on Lake Superior had to stay the night, but what a blast that was to drive home in when morning came. I heart AWD.
I remember that when there was an amount of snow so colossal as that shown in this video, it was possible to create networks of tunnels in the snow which one could crawl through.
What year was this? i have B&W that show tunnels from the houses to the street.
and 30-40 ft drifts.
