I'm so sick of people distorting her position. In answer 2 what he said at 1.35, he didn't read the very 1st sentence of her 20min Iraq speech upon voting that sayis: "Today we are asked to give the President authority 2 use force SHOULD DIPLOMATIC EFFORTS FAIL".

Question, did Bush use diplomacy. NO. He didn't meet the conditions under which authority 2 use force was granted as he bypassed diplomacy & UN inspections, that there might aswell not have been a vote. He just jumped in2 war.

Many people have used a simplified description of that vote. I have been disappointed that there hasn't been more pushback from more democrats on this.

What gets me cross is that by the Democrats oversimplifying the vote 4 political gain, as a black & white vote 4 the action Bush took don't realise they've now given credibility 2 his revised interpretation of the vote that he had authority 2 take such action. In his own word @ end of his 02' cincinatti speech he said the vote gave authority 2 ENFORCE the UN Security Council IF NESSECARY. Ironically he used force 2 PREVENT the UN inspections from resolving no WMD existed & wasn't impeached.
