Hi Tim, Google parked domains are terrible they have in the meta noindex and nofollow so you will never get organic traffic.

Im reluctant to believe you adsense has even covered the cost of your parked domain, if you have site in use that you advertise that recieves hit you may make a few quid a month but parked domains? how do people find them unless you advertise them? = no profit

That's fine if you don't believe it, you don't have to, but the fact is I do turn a profit. I have nothing to sell here so there is no reason for me to make this up.

Is it the best way to monetize? Probably not putting a real website up would be. But it's useful for those of us with a heap of domains just sitting around parked.100% of my domains are not profitable, but overall most are in profit. Don't assume that just because you can't get it to work, that it doesn't work !

Of course this is a good option. The point here is if you have a large number of domains you have not got around to putting a site up then this is a simple way to get a return of money on. If you are only earning 5p a year then you are in trouble. Most of my domains are in decent profit with google adsense for domains.

I make money most days from google adsense for domains, so what you are saying is completely wrong. And there is no "conflict" with their regular adsense program as this is just an extension of it. You get full stats on page views, etc on your domain.

So in summary: You are completely wrong :)

You get the cname record from your google adsense for domains account. it's different for everyone, so make sure you don't use someone elses otherwise they will get the revenue and not you!

Howdy,

You can get it working, by just finding in your webhost the settings to set your cname and A records in the dns. If you look at go daddy and a few other ones you will see that the process is the same, just the screens look different.

If that fails just contact your domain registrar support and I am sure they will help you out.

Hey Andrew , Yes you can solicit your website, but it's certainly against Googles Terms of service to actually ask people to click Google Ad's on your page. But certainly you can (and should) promote your websites.

As to the question, is it better than namedrive. I think at this stage namedrive has more customization options, but google adsense is well google adsense.

I can't help but think google will rank a domain with their adsense on it better than a website running a competitors online ads program!
