We already had 4 NFL titles by '64. 4 AAFC titles in a row between '46-'49 and also made 6 straight title game appeareances between '50-'55. It took the Steelers until the '74 season to win their first title. 41 years after their first NFL season. The Browns first year of exsistence ('46) they won the AAFC title. In their first year in the NFL ('50) they defeated the defending '49 champs the Eagles in their first game in the NFL and beat the Rams for the title later that year.
