The Bangles= A serious rock band. Yes they look good and enjoy themselves openly but they could also play their instruments. Certainly one of the best 'female' groups to ever emerge from the world of music. Jules S, Prince and many others saw their potential at the time and gave them their best songs all for good reason.
The keyboard player totally screwed the pooch. I wonder if he was unplugged or what??? Like the professionals they are, the real "Bangles" sawed it down anyway. Amazing and beautiful. Real stuff.
Jealous girls in the audience...ha. Susanna Hoffs by far the most beautiful and talented. Not to take anything from the others but she was singled out for a reason!!

There is a strange diss regarding the Bangles playing live on a Family Guy episode but they were (and are) an exemplary live act. Both songs this night were dead on. I think the Bangles are very underrated. Their AOL Sessions concert where they are unplugged shows this clearly. A lot of talent amongst these women.
My wife worked on the scenery for Saturday Night Live back then so we had free tickets to this show. Danny DeVito was the host. I didn't know who the Bangles were until that night. Now I can't even remember any of the comedy sketches. But I never forgot hpow amazing the Bangles were. This is the first time I've seen this since the live show. Still breathtaking.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing this, the dudefromthesun. Thanks also to DoctorvetOH for making me aware of this video. Great band, very professional, and bassist Michael Steele shines as always. This is way cool!
I second the Hazy request. And gotta say, Michael is damn cool as always here. And the young female fans in the audience between songs are great. ("MICHAEL! WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL!")
no conocia este video, gracias la verda yo escucho metal desde muy joven pero desde que las escuche por primera vez no he podido dejar oir sus cancione mejor que mucha "musica" de los "artistas (sarcasmo)" de los 90' hasta ahora

@andy55638 the bass player is the most beutiful one on that stage. And then she hits that chorus with an angelic voice. ROWL.
