  • Hi, Is the flex strap stable and strong? I'm thinking of using it to attach my Contour to a Ski pole to do some nice shots. Would love a reply thanks.

  • Having the cam on the handlebars, head tube or on the helmet. What do prefer?

  • @jethomsen For on-bike mounting, the head tube is the best because it's not as shaky while climbing. When I mount a camera on the handebars, the back-and-forth motion of the bars while climbing makes the video shaky. Helmet mounting is good for eliminating rattling noise from rough roads, and with the 60fps setting I use, it eliminates rolling shutter waviness in the picture. However, I move my head around too much while climbing.

  • @jethomsen Also, helmet mounting is good for getting footage of things that aren't directly in front of the bike.

  • looks good man, very smooth

  • @retardedman10 Thanks. I think I'll stick with this location for bike mounting.

  • Nice ... seems to be pretty smooth with that new mount. Gotta check it out.

  • @ca3crown Thanks :) I think I'm going to buy a second camera and run one on the helmet and one on the head tube so I can continue to get footage of things that aren't right in front of me (and better sufferage ;))
