  • America own almost the entire world soon they will own Outer Space.

  • I'm starting my own space exploration, Anyone want to join with new technology, Investors just contact me!!!

  • You have to realize you are a check and balance in NASA. you bring opperational readyness to the team. So what does the team need? What problems do the teams employ? What daddy daycare do they need? I'm not sure. I just know getting to space is easy. landing is hard. Alaska is full of resources. one could just gather what ever he or she needed. build what every ship they wanted under 5 years. If you aren't a master craftsman then good luck with nasa. I employ my self.

  • Intriguing...

  • @zahaj I'm in college studying aeronautical engineering with a 4.0 GPA. I speak french French, German, and I'm learning Italian. I'm 160 pounds.

  • @ws74rq111 they roll the rocket so the top (the back when its on the launch pad) is facing the heading they want to go

  • I am not American...but can I join NASA??

  • We could stop spending money on military and leave the countries to pay for their own...that way we could spend more time on NASA space program.

  • @Hperman09 NASA IS ALL INTERNATIONAL. DARPA IS THE REAL NASA OF THE USA TODAY. DO YOUR RESEARCH. DARPA HAS TO OK NASA TEC BEFORE THEY PUT IT OUT INTO THE PUBLIC. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY HACKERS TRY TO GET INTO NASA. ALOT. SO NO ONE KEEPS THERE STUFF THERE.

  • Excuse my ignorance, but why do rockets have to "Roll " after lift off ?. Surely, if you want a rocket a certain way round, why not launch it that way. Genuine question been on my mind for years....

  • @ws74rq111 Lots of times that's just because the pads were built like that. Like for the Space Shuttle, since they used the Saturn V pads that were already built they had to roll too. For the Saturns I think the pads were built like that for ease of use, like driving them out to the pad and stuff.

  • If there is a absolute dream work then astronaut is it, space exploration is the future.

  • OH HELL NO

  • If your height is less than 1,5m or more than 1,8m you can't apply.

  • Seems nice. I'm American but I think the whole world should be allowed to go into space via Nasa. I mean, this is space, this is off-world, no country should treat every area of space like it's their territory and they got there first, in fact, this should be humanity's achievements, not just a countries. If this world wasn't separated by countries, there probably wouldn't be any wars and segregation, either we lose the boarders and unite, or end up destroying ourselves.

  • @thechosen1228 im not a US citizen and there's no hope for me :'(

  • @thechosen1228 OK. NO. if you aren't smart enought to (((HIGH SCHOOL MATH))) TO GET INTO SPACE YOUR SELF THEN WHY WOULD I PAY YOU TO GO THERE. You can make your own small scram jet and have ballons take you there. The hole thing could be the size of a car. you are just not a master craftman. you can't make anything. you can't even live off the systems others bring to your table. SO what the f is your problem. YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROBLEM. BESIDES the earth is already over populated.

  • @thechosen1228 I think more people need to watch The Lion King. Seriously. It talks about or gives the understanding of The Circle of Life and how We are One. (not meant for me to sound like some pot smoking hippy)

  • FUCK WHY AM I ONLY 15. This is like my absolute dream

  • @arjhala Me too:) I know almost everything a boy can know, but I'm kinda tall :(

  • BTW, I have 10 years hotel house keeping experience, I can clean toilets!? PLS PLS PLS

  • How can they find a US citizen without obesity and a general knowledge highier then that of a cat? Not to mention knowledge of languages?

  • @zahaj Hmm, I'm 100lbs, I can speak spanish and serbian, I have a 4.0 gpa and I'm only 16.

  • What? US Citizenship required?! The Americans get everything!

  • Why can´t europeans apply to NASA ?

    thats racial segrigation !

  • @Flummmmmmi

    because of american tax dollars?

And btw we have our own Space Agency here, remember

  • @sonar9000 Yeah, plus we kill less of our astronauts, so you're better off with us!

  • go i want i want

  • i'd like to be a cosmonaut, but i wonder how it differs to astronaut...??

  • @cruxader27 one actually has a rocket to go to space in...

  • great job guys

  • I Have a Question: Why Don't you manufacture Rockets up in Space. You Say You have

The Technology to - day ,This way you won't be blowing holes in our Ozone's

    That's my Question.?

  • @pgumas Very few launch vehicles produce harmful emissions, case in point, the Shuttles main engines use Liquid Oxygen and Liquid Hydrogen and the combustion byproduct was... steam aka hot water vapor. About as dangerous to the environment as a rain cloud.

  • @pgumas also, if you built the rockets in space, how would you get the equipment and personnel to those orbital manufacturing plants? We cant get Scotty to beam us up just yet.

  • @captainofiron an elevator to space :)

now seriously I wonder why noone actually tried it lol

  • @StelarCF actually there was a contest not too long ago for something along those lines. do a web search on Space Elevator Games

  • Thanks NASA for letting 2 generations go by where you did not really do dick, playing with the over priced space shuttle and way over priced space station, you were on the moon 41 years ago and have not done shit for my whole life, sad, truly sad, well I guess when spaceX made you look stupid you have to do some thing to keep your funding. It is going to be funny when Mr. Musk puts people on mars, a full 15 to 20 years before you would even think of doing it and at 10% of the cost.

  • I would do this if I had my BA. I will in a couple of years. I will try applying then.

  • @WakeUpWolfgang you have to have a Bachelor of Science, no arts degrees are accepted

  • Wow I didn't know it would ever be this easy!

  • I'd love to apply. I don't know if I'd be qualified or not, but I'd love to have a chance to see if I have what it takes. Unfortunately, I'm a little too young as a college student just working towards a bachelor's right now (in physics). I'll probably be the right age once they start doing the deeper-space exploration missions with Orion though, so maybe then... I'd love to be among the first humans to visit an asteroid, or even Mars!

  • Im an Orbiternaut on Orbiter Space flight simulator and Kerbalnaut. Does that count for anything?(Obviously Not)

  • I want to do this!!!!!! you think they would still be interested in hiring young 22 year old engineers still?? lol because i havnt seen a super young astronaut in a long time

  • @DruMMerBoY4321 I'd wait another 20 years, they'd probably be ready for you by then.

  • @Morrgore haha thats kind of what i was figuring. doesnt matter that im getting my masters degree in structural engineering, NASA isnt looking for brave young men with no wives and families anymore so that if something goes wrong they wont cost a family its father/husband. oh well, i guess there might still be a shot at becoming a test pilot, but even then they want older more "experienced" men haha

  • I just got accepted to be an astronaut candidate class of 2013!!

  • @captnmac14 wow...really?

  • I don't think I'll ever be qualified, but I'm gonna apply every year! I want to go to space so badly! I'd do almost anything to take a little trip off of this one rock all 7 Billion of us call home.

  • Do it Kurt, do it!

  • man, if I were a US citizen I'd be ALL OVER THIS.... All I'd need then is some flight training and I'm waxed...

  • Tell Bolden to shove it!

  • Who could resist!

  • I've been a follower of NASA since it started. Do you take 64-year-olds?

  • Starfleet is here.

  • Kurtjmac sent me.

  • what is going on the world? aliens are touching people's body. even I heard that 3 aliens came and used toilet in people's house. but I don't think they are real aliens. I think real aliens are more smart and look not grey like animals. so I think most aliens we see are all space animals. and real intelligent creatures look like humans. very colorful and smart and violent?...

  • Working in NASA is a dream !

  • @lepoete20 You mean working "for"?..

  • @BRANSCOMBEx YES

  • Pretty weak video if you ask me it could have been so much better :(

  • Does any one remember what the lady at 1:05 is called or where i can can get that picture. it would look great as a desktop background.

  • @THE16THPHANTOM What about a screensaver with the guy at 1:02? :D

  • @thydusk666

haha...i can just picture him every 10minutes

  • @THE16THPHANTOM That would be Cady Coleman I believe. She is most memorable for her huge afro hair while in space and also for the cute and unusual way she was carried out of the capsule after landing. Also she was the first human to play flute in space.

  • Pity I'm underage! Would apply for shurz.

  • @THE16THPHANTOM Yeah, I had second thoughts after thinking about it for a good quarter of an hour. :P

  • This video makes me feel inspired... no that's not right. Gassy! Yeah, this video makes me feel bloated and stinky. Stop looking at me like that, I can blame the video if I want to.

  • I wonder would NASA like to hire me.. I could be like a professional fanboy? =D

  • I would have jumped at it, 20 years ago....

  • Yay comment!
