@lafemme5278 I have such dry skin that whenever I try my liquid concealer it looks caked even though I put on just a teeny dot. It's definitely not the concealer though! All of them seem to do this to me. Any tips?
@EtoileBaby First off if you're not already using a Clarisonic you might want to think about getting one. My makeup looks 1000x better since using it regularly. But esp for undereyes, you could apply an eye cream before concealer and once it's absorbed, apply concealer.

@TheNicoli89 Yeah you do have to wet the brush before using the cake liner. Otherwise it's so sheer and has no staying power. the water almost makes it like a paste...it's amazing!

Hey, Thanks so much for the very helpful tutorial, I was planning on buying the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray for my wedding, but i noticed you used the de'slick...have you used both? which one would you think would be better? Thanks =)
@bktaylor1105 I would go with De Slick if you have any tendency to get oily. They both make makeup last longer but the De Slick also helps absorb oil.

I was wondering... I have always thought it'd be better to use mattes on your eyes for a wedding because of flash photgraphy--you don't want your entire eyelid from lashes to brow to be shimmery and gliterry in all pictures--so how satisfied were you with the shimmery eyes in the pictures? I love shimmer and most of the shadows I use are shimmer but I think I would rather pull for more mattes and then some strategically placed shimmer on the inner corner/lid area. How did you feel about it?
@darya155 I would definitely think mattes would photograph better. I didn't worry about it too much and my photos look fine. Most of my pics were taken in natural sunlight which I think helps. If most of them were taken with a flash then shimmery shadows could catch the light and look harsh.

@ratherbedancing3 Thank you so much, Shawna. I don't think I really used any specific body products. I was afraid of self tanners rubbing off on my dress or getting that gross "Self-Tanner" smell throughout the day.

@JolieJanaa I'm pretty sure I just used the Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda concealer palette because it has different shades so you can use it all year round.

@EtoileBaby I always thought it was way overpriced but I've been using the same one for over 6 months and it's still in perfect condition. It also gives the most flawless application of foundation--definitely worth it!
when i put on make up at first it looks really good but then after school/part way through the day my forehead is almost like oily a little but then dry too?
i don't know what to do! i don't know how to fix it because i use moisturizer and a powder and i don't want to skip either so i'm not sure what to do.
any ideas?!

@hollyPLZ Are you exfoliating? And I had similar combination skin and since I started using the Clarisonic a year ago my skin is so different. I still have slightly oily skin but I almost never get dry, flaky skin at the same time. It's definitely worth the investment!

@JolieJanaa I'm pretty sure I just used the Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda concealer palette because it has different shades so you can use it all year round.

okayy i hope you can answer my question...
when i put on make up at first it looks really good but then after school/part way through the day my forehead is almost like oily a little but then dry too?
i don't know what to do! i don't know how to fix it because i use moisturizer and a powder and i don't want to skip either so i'm not sure what to do.
any ideas?!

@hollyPLZ Are you exfoliating? And I had similar combination skin and since I started using the Clarisonic a year ago my skin is so different. I still have slightly oily skin but I almost never get dry, flaky skin at the same time. It's definitely worth the investment!
