in season 3 they pretty much said everything before that was a fake tv kids show which almost made me wanna cry... lool , which leaves me confused b/c in boy hunters all the mains (goggle heads come back) .. i guess il just have to wait and see . i think this is how the saesons should go it makes more sense chronilogicly 1,2,4,6,3,5,7 . i like the songs in this though pretty epic . i.m.o boy hunters is kinda annoying it has way to much filler but it is cool to see everyone back!

what you people have yet to understand is digimon have diffrent variations , this in no way means the the original greymon from adv or the data quad ultimate of agumon (shinegreymon) dont exist anymore there still there, this is just a resign just like beelzemon my opinion is i like season 2 the best personally b/c davis is my fav and he was pretty badass , in a close second taichi , then gallantmon (tamers) then every other season which i did enjoy , but if you didnt realize ....

@MultiItsover9000 It's is called redesing. They rededinged Greymon (Black) for this season so it looks more badass now. It do not naturally evolve into MetalGreymon, it have to be Xrosed with MailBirdramon. Thats why it do not look like the Adventure one.

But Gaiomon is a Greymon, it is a BlackWarGreymon affected by the X-antibody.

All seasons are different, but retain core, familiar elements with somewhat similar designs. This season's evolution system and very, VERY generic mecha designs are just too much of a jump for the worst.

if you want a taste of the original series, they are in development of a brand new digimon game which will be a very much pumpd up version of the first one on ps1, it cotains all of the originals and others, it also has a brand new story following 1 boy who can freely go between the real world and the digital world.

Many plot elements introduced in 02 were completely unaccounted for in the original Adventure and no reason was given for their absence during that time. The Daemon Corps for example sprouted out of nowhere, was given no goal and left very abruptly.

@EdwardElric555 It was an inconsistency because no explanation was given for the Daemon Corps as to why they were not present during the original Adventure nor what they were even doing in the real world any way. I suppose it wasn't a good example of it though.

Another problem was digivices popping into existence, which completely tossed out the original Adventure mythos. Originally, each device was crafted for years and specific to each digimon and partner. 02 ignored this completely.

And I can't remember how they got there digivices in 02, but I do remember Adventure's Digivices came from being invented by the humanoids in the Digital World to find the Chosen Children who will defeat the Dark Masters and Armageddonmon, they built it for that threat.
