I enjoy your playing! I also have Ivory II Grand Pianos and Yamaha CVP-303 piano. I have problms with using it.... Could you please explain how do you connect your keyboard to the computer and how do you configure Ivory II? Do you have any problems with latency when playing Ivory?
this is really great ..... you know whats the amazing thing about it ; is that you kinda look like my father who past a way.... and when you play it kinda give my the picture of him playing piano in heaven :)
Wonderful interpretation of a beautiful piece. I was quite surprised to find that the main theme, or rather, the first few measures of Autumn Leaves is taken from Tchaikovsky's 'Hamlet'.
@xxZachguyxx Wow, thank you for such a nice compliment. As I mentioned in the description, the arrangement is by Gabriel Bock from the book All Time Standards.
Hi there , I've finally got round to putting my version of autumn leaves on, some of the ideas I got from listening to your fantastic version of this piece. Excellent stuff
@Swedishl337 Thank you very much. This is a large honour for me. But this arrangement is by Gabriel Bock from the book "All Time Standards". He did a great work!
Very soothing to listen to. Good job Dave. Still happy with your Numa I guess. Did you encounter any problems with this keyboard after playing on it for such a long time? Thanks for the music anyway.
@spicbuddha Thank you very much. If you like a really heavy wheighted action, then the Numa Nero is great. Be aware that it is just a controller without any sounds.
@idaveit Thanks, yes I am aware. I have a Logic setup here at home. First I was thinking of the Kawai ce200, but I like that this has less of a physical footprint; my apt is small. Now it's whether to get Ivory or Alicia's keys. Thanks again...
I never played the NI akoustik piano, I only know the demos. The thing I like on Ivory (only the Steinway patch) is that it feels so great on the keys. Especially when you play soft and like a warm sound, then it's fantastic.
As far as I know, there will be a new release (Ivory II).
@idaveit I like the steinway preset in akoustik, but i can't fully get into detail because i have my limits with my cheap midi controller. I NEED the studiologic numa to fully grasp the akoustik dynamic range. thanks for expanding my knowledge on ivory and the numa!
@drawfire25 You should look into the Studiologic sl-990xp, 88 fully weighted keys and built like a tank. Around 300$, no fancy controls, but if all you need is piano playing, then it's perfect.
@drawfire25 I had Akoustik piano, didn't like it. Ivory is way better. Reason pianos is also a good alternative if you have Reason, I also liked the The Grand 2 from Steinberg. Ivory tops them all though.
@drawfire25 I own NI akoustik piano and Ivory. I like and use both. Ivory has a lot more realism but NI akoustik Piano has a nice flavour to it when used in the context of a song (for example rock).
bravo man!! i just got a Numa Nero today...its a luxury to play...just need a serious piano software....logic's jam pack pianos are getting there workout rite now though... Ivory is great but im also eying the QL Pianos becuase i had the Bosendofer290 so Discount if i do buy it...I'll let ya know thanks keep the vids coming your great never to late to be great :P
So, that's Synthogy Ivory... I gotta say, that's the closest thing to a real grand piano I've ever heard. If I didn't see the title, or the keyboard, I probably wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. lol Nice playing :)
The Numa Nero feels very realistic to a grand piano and is great to play. The keys are heavy weightet. The surface of the keys feels fantastic. The program to create personal dynamic curves however is not so well.
Finally found what I've been looking for. This is beauty in its purest form. It's my hope that someday I can play even a fraction as well as this.

I thing that numa NANO is better than numa ( less plastic), but with no wooden keys and is heavy.
