i am french lived 1year in france.11 years in montreal .moved to usa the very night the beatles were on ed sullivan.only french singers i knew were brel from my mother and johnny from my older sister.grew up on alice cooper -led zeplin and so on. sylvie was a las vegas singer,so i was not interesded.thanks to youtube i love sylvie and this version of love is blue has a growl and punch.to it. it was great song ,claudine s version was nice but too subdued for my taste.long live sylvie.....

I am way old enough to be her mother, but she draws me in, and I can relate to her. Can't wait to hear and see what she does next.
I think I like all versions of this, including a male one by the Dells, but the words are very different between French and English.
