Mariahs vocals are incomparable. No ones vocals can even compare to hers. I dont know why people compare these other artist to Mariah. She is in a totally different league not only vocally but success wise. Mariah is vocally FAR more superior. Mariah has always been a provactive dresser. That's who she is but when she debuted nobody labelled her as a sex symbol. Everyone was singing praises for her voice first and then speaking on how she looked. And Beyonce debuted in a much different music scene then Mariah.

Mariah is vocally more gifted, however how many octaves or what not you have... doesn't necessarily reflect how good you'll sound... look at Georgia Brown she sings in whistle register and has 8 octaves (more than Mariah)... so if we went by MC fans logic, georgia brown is the best.

@ForeverComplaining I agree that are vrey good old singer, but noone has ever been at level of Whitney Houston that is why she has been named the Voice. Gergia Brown is amazing and likewise MC. I like MC in early stages then her music became boring and she did a lot of music very cheap and commercial. it is nothing personal but it is a reality. WH is an Icon and MC herself knows about it.
