yes very nice song and graphics now super impose the graphics on a scenic motorcycle ride would be awesome - My Electribe is Broke I have to fix it havent used it in a while.
Some other things you might like to try... putting partially transparent things inbetween the screen and the camera - things that refract light, filter it, smoke clouds, etc... really cool what you can do
Hi, this is very interesting, but, how to create a feedback effect such as in Amii Stewart's KNOCK ON WOOD or Moloko's SING IT BACK? I mean, you are talking about a loop being fed back into the camera the size of a tv screen but those are life-size images...
@macintosser Amii's clip is from 1979. No sign of digital era in the visual media back then, so you have to go analog. Maybe a green screen, but I don't know whether you have to go digital to be able to do anything with that. Although, I don't rule out that they used a life-size screen, because you know, music made money back then.
Moloko's clip however seems to be done with some sort of tracing effect in the post. I assume this can only be done digitally. But hey, I'm just an audio fellow :)
Ta for the reply... I will ask aorund one of the art-colleges where they do post-prod.
All the replies I got don't seem to work as a camera can only do one thing at the time: either record or play back... so... no feeding back in (how) what it plays what it records...
what point of "This is a demo of video feedback effects. You can get this effect by connecting a video camera to a TV and aiming the camera at the TV. It's a lot fun and interesting." you don't got? jeez, nobody that takes 5secs of time to read video descriptions....
You're a master with the ESX sir.

Try pulling up the OSD menu on the monitor while your camera is aimed at it It just looks sweet when the text leaves a trail.

Cool video - I use the video feedback loop for a branch of paranormal research called Instrumental Transcommunication, fascinating process.
