  • does the whole thing jump a lot when you hit the footpedal for a normal stroke? i got a practice pad (i think from sonor) and it was too jumpy to use it..

  • how much does this cost???

  • @MrPaokara100 These costs only 150 bucks

  • Hey LuUam........... congratulations. You are a first class DICK.

  • how much is the kit?

  • Hey Domonik, I recently bought this thing to practice in an apartment and i noticed that the point of contact between the kick beater and the "bass drum" head is a bit off. The beater hits at almost a 100 degree angle rather than 90. Have you noticed this on your kit? I use a dw9000. thanks

  • @reactionsb1 I have DW7000's and yeah you're right I just looked and it is over 90°.

  • Is the kit still holding up well after a few years? and does the middle pole ever get in the way when moving between the top 2 pads?

  • U rip!

  • lol i love how the camera catches the stick flips. awesome video btw. i have this practice kit and im using it before moving on to a kit that costs like......600 bucks. anyhow thats some pretty focused playing for sure.

  • what bass drum pedal do you use? I'm considering to buy this thing but i;m really worried my double pedal (iron cobra) doesn't fit to the bass drum pad. have you tried with cobra before? anyway that was addictive licks with that paradiddle.. I use it alot hahahaha. thx before

  • @jackontempo All pedals will fit mate.

  • All you're really doing is just playing triplets on your bass and playing rolls with your hands. Don't get me wrong, you're great, but I want to see more than just fast playing.

  • You play like Thomas Lang. Did you get those at one of his drumming boot camps?

  • @ilikehairbands no, It's not from a TL Bootcamp. I just play fast Paradiddle like RLRRLRLL..

  • MYSPACE IS DEAD

  • Very nice. Makes me want to practice.

  • Should i keep my drumset with muffle heads or get this one ?

  • if this was in 3d those stick tricks would scare the shit outta me.

  • Hey, great playing :) Quick question: Can a head/pad of the kit detach so you can use it as a singular practice pad alone (you know like these 12" practice pad's for like $20)? Thank a lot :)

  • @TomWrightTheDrummer Yeah man. They screw onto the frame underneath so you can just unscrew one and put it in a snare stand (or on a table or something) and go nuts with just one pad.

  • @invaderharpie2112 thanks mate :)

  • @TomWrightTheDrummer Not a problem man. Have fun!

  • I have played those once and they seem effortless to play and almost easier to play than an acoustic kit.

  • Awesome playing and nice practice kit!=o)

  • how did you set it up this way like turning them etc

  • This sounds like it would annoy my parents a lot, is it okay for bedroom practice?

  • hey dude,smooth doubles ;)

  • I bought one of those kits! Wasn't my cup of tea, sadly. You've got some sharp chops though my man! Doing any studio time for anyone?

  • the camera shakes everytime you hit the bass pedal

  • how much do they cost?

  • @MartinBassistem about $150 (new)

  • can you move the pads around? like move the first tom to the place of a hi hat

  • @ihaveabox yes, of course!

  • was this a wise investment?

  • @drex48239 absolutely ;)

  • DUDE U R AWESOME!!!!!! btw im buying this set 4 m vacation house in long island, id like to attach some real cymbals with muter pads cuz the houses are 2 dam close 0---0. 2 make it feel more like a real kit? wat do u think of this set?

  • @dangerrat456 thanks dude! appreciate that!

this set is very very good for practice, but the rebound is not comparable with the rebound of a real drumset!

  • incredible sound

  • how different is the filling of this with a real acoustic drum?

  • @secorta the rebound is much much more than the rebound of a real drumset

  • This is awesome, i really really like it!! not a massive fan of double kicks but the hand work is lethal. need to invest in a practice kit and never stop practicing!

  • @dtutwahaf hey thanks man!

  • I really want a practice drum set like this one. I am saving some money for a really really REALLY expensive kit. Not just that but a good sounding one. I have looked for some of these on ebay but they are mostly over $200 and I was like holy crap! So if anybody has one of these for sale for a better price please reply.

  • @beaulolp musician's friend has them for $147. You can get them on ebay for $100-$140. Search, DW practice kit.

  • I cant seem to find the arms to put another pad on this kit, could you lead me to the promise land? Also, what double pedal are you using? Just looking for a non expensive decent one

  • but how much does it cost?

  • how is the bass drum pad??sturdy????gud enough for a heavy hitter?with minimal noise?

  • These pads sound almost silent. Other videos on here leave you thinking they're a louder pad.....are yours different in any way? Sounds like a true rubber surface.

  • @TheBoogernugget This Pads got the same sound and silence like the HQ Practice Pads

  • I just got this practice kit. Do you have trouble keeping your double pedal on it ? I do. First off my double pedal wont even latch onto that metal piece. had to cover it with cardboard and tape. also for both beaters to hit the pad i have to shit it so far to the right. And after a few mins of playing the kit detaches from my pedals. Dyou have any tips to fixing this ?

  • just one question... te pedal pad.. is it resistant?.. i mean.. it looks like if with time you could bend it or make it really soft or something..

  • i have these pads and i have to say they suck..... well there good cuz they last but the rebound sucks its way to much... and all the pads sound bassicly the same... if anyone wants pads go for epad they have the snare one that has the snare sound and the tom pads have different sounds and you can mock up more than 4.

  • Dude....I'm not gonna lie, that's some pretty insane stuff (ya know, the around the kid stuff....not the flip tricks :P) I personally have always had problems bouncing and rolling the sticks as fast and as well as you do in that vid.... are there any secrets to that? Like did you start out with rudiments as a beginning drummer and learn them really well and eventually ended up fast like that? idk, i never really learned all the rudiments, i just taught myself haha

    Your thoughts?

    -Drew

  • @DrummerDrew1332 hey Drew, thank you, I really appreciate that.

In this vid i play basically paradiddles (RLRRLRLL) very fast and go around the kid.

There is no trick i think *lol*

practice this paradiddle and start with a tempo that feels comfortable for you.

and when it sounds good and clear, put the tempo higher and higher.

but keep in mind that it always should feel comfortable for you.

    all the best, Dominik

  • Great Man!!!

  • that first drumset is Basix?! Wow its pretty good loooking. If its the same company that i have then man, i thought they only made shitty drums! :S

  • @andreww04 yeah right, my first drumset was this Basix Custom! sounds very cool with good heads.

Now I've got a Tama Superstar Hyperdrive Custom.

  • does this fold up nicely and and can u arange the pads diffrently

  • They should trigger something like that for electronic drums. Have you heard how loud a Roland TD-9SX is?

  • Hi! I'm Daniele (Rome). I would like to buy a "dw go anywhere" kit. It is right to use also with double-pedal? Thank you and congratulations!

  • how is the bassdrum feel?Looks like the rebound is stronger than on a real drum...

  • @ShortyOwned yeah, very much rebound on the pad

  • how did you get your bass to sound wuiet. on my kit its to loud i wanna lower it down

  • dude i didn't like the stick tricks

  • quit it with the girly stick tricks

  • @jellyboy123 yup, hehehe.....

  • Then are you saying that if you got one for a good price, it's crap?

  • ..solid licks, but I would work more on incorporating your feet. All these fills are just hands..

  • Dude, it's not like he is showing his entire reportoire in 1 min 17 secs

  • If I were going to buy this get up, I would want to know what the kick pad sounds like, as well. It's fine though. I understand.

  • really cool dude!!

  • If your going to twirl your drums sticks around like a girlie man, at least try and continue the beat with your other hand :P

  • give him a break though, he's a white boy lol.

  • @JTdrummer92

lmao I fucking cracked up when I saw that

  • How quiet are these? I've really been thinking about buying a set, but wasn't sure if they'd be too loud... do you think these would work playing in the attic of a wood house at night? Also, is the bass pad reversible? It looked like it had a softer white side, but idk of course...

  • awesome man!

  • what up man good drumming , awsome stick handle-ing lol if anything i was wondering of getting this set....some people say hitting the pads are loud like hiting wood or a hard cover textbook...is it really that loud...and if anything you think if i bough two lol could i put the pads and combine all into one like 1snare 2toms2floor toms 1hit hat and two symbals...all as moved around were the peices really go.lol how much was the double pedals btw? good video

  • very cool drumming!!! do the pads stay in place well?

  • yes they do! Thanks!!

  • Nice....;)

  • Neat.

  • thx man

  • Klasse sogar hier merkt man in welcher liga du schon spielst!! hab aber eine frage: welche art von sticks spielst du? lg

  • This was just a test of my practice kit.

  • Stfu, n00b.

  • nice cam position

  • Thanks. I taped my cam with Gaffa on a cymbal stand ;-)

  • is it possible to use that in an appartement..? and will it have much sound when doing fast double bass?

  • uhmmm it depends if u got good floors

cuz lik wen i step on my bass pedal at home

u can hear it down stairs

as in lik the stomp =/

    idk good luck though XD

  • yes, mos def. be careful with the bass pedal, the people on the floors under you might hear it. might want to find some way to dampen it. maybe put it on a piece of plywood so it does not contact the floor directly.

  • why should he 'fix' his techniqiue

    -lovesdrumsalot-? I think it's fine

  • Yeah, and also, whatever works for him, honestly.

  • Hey man i have the same pad, its great right the only issues ive encountered is that the pads come loose pretty fast and the bass drum pad is too quit i just took a piece of cardboard and put it over it. this thing is fun as hell ill put a vid up soon

  • nice vid man, how much did that practice kit cost?

  • everywhere i see it it is 150$

  • I agree with milanpaloyannidis. Granted it takes alot of skill to do it, but you cant hear a stick twirl on a record

  • Understood bet its a good visual and people enjoy watching it, its show-manship.

  • it's something to fill in a gap of silent beats, or as musicians call "RESTS". if you can learn more from listening, you should close your eyes every time you watch a drumming demo video.

  • ;) thomasssssssssssssssssss langggggggggggggggggg

    that was phat

  • im sorry to burst your bubble but the whole stick catching thing... when did music become a sercuss.

  • whats a sercuss?

  • Comment removed

  • The pads sound really nice

  • what double pedal you have?

  • On Practice Kit Dw 4002! On my Drumset a Dw 5002.

  • those pads have an incredibly satisfying sound to me...

  • @Dazcam I know! They are like super relaxing but at the same time they make me wanna kill myself brutally. Odd feeling there haha.

  • does it come with the double kciker

  • $139.99 w/free shipping- Musicians Friend
