does the whole thing jump a lot when you hit the footpedal for a normal stroke? i got a practice pad (i think from sonor) and it was too jumpy to use it..
Hey Domonik, I recently bought this thing to practice in an apartment and i noticed that the point of contact between the kick beater and the "bass drum" head is a bit off. The beater hits at almost a 100 degree angle rather than 90. Have you noticed this on your kit? I use a dw9000. thanks
lol i love how the camera catches the stick flips. awesome video btw. i have this practice kit and im using it before moving on to a kit that costs like......600 bucks. anyhow thats some pretty focused playing for sure.
what bass drum pedal do you use? I'm considering to buy this thing but i;m really worried my double pedal (iron cobra) doesn't fit to the bass drum pad. have you tried with cobra before? anyway that was addictive licks with that paradiddle.. I use it alot hahahaha. thx before
All you're really doing is just playing triplets on your bass and playing rolls with your hands. Don't get me wrong, you're great, but I want to see more than just fast playing.
Hey, great playing :) Quick question: Can a head/pad of the kit detach so you can use it as a singular practice pad alone (you know like these 12" practice pad's for like $20)? Thank a lot :)
@TomWrightTheDrummer Yeah man. They screw onto the frame underneath so you can just unscrew one and put it in a snare stand (or on a table or something) and go nuts with just one pad.
DUDE U R AWESOME!!!!!! btw im buying this set 4 m vacation house in long island, id like to attach some real cymbals with muter pads cuz the houses are 2 dam close 0---0. 2 make it feel more like a real kit? wat do u think of this set?
This is awesome, i really really like it!! not a massive fan of double kicks but the hand work is lethal. need to invest in a practice kit and never stop practicing!
I really want a practice drum set like this one. I am saving some money for a really really REALLY expensive kit. Not just that but a good sounding one. I have looked for some of these on ebay but they are mostly over $200 and I was like holy crap! So if anybody has one of these for sale for a better price please reply.
I cant seem to find the arms to put another pad on this kit, could you lead me to the promise land? Also, what double pedal are you using? Just looking for a non expensive decent one
These pads sound almost silent. Other videos on here leave you thinking they're a louder pad.....are yours different in any way? Sounds like a true rubber surface.
I just got this practice kit. Do you have trouble keeping your double pedal on it ? I do. First off my double pedal wont even latch onto that metal piece. had to cover it with cardboard and tape. also for both beaters to hit the pad i have to shit it so far to the right. And after a few mins of playing the kit detaches from my pedals. Dyou have any tips to fixing this ?
i have these pads and i have to say they suck..... well there good cuz they last but the rebound sucks its way to much... and all the pads sound bassicly the same... if anyone wants pads go for epad they have the snare one that has the snare sound and the tom pads have different sounds and you can mock up more than 4.
Dude....I'm not gonna lie, that's some pretty insane stuff (ya know, the around the kid stuff....not the flip tricks :P) I personally have always had problems bouncing and rolling the sticks as fast and as well as you do in that vid.... are there any secrets to that? Like did you start out with rudiments as a beginning drummer and learn them really well and eventually ended up fast like that? idk, i never really learned all the rudiments, i just taught myself haha
How quiet are these? I've really been thinking about buying a set, but wasn't sure if they'd be too loud... do you think these would work playing in the attic of a wood house at night? Also, is the bass pad reversible? It looked like it had a softer white side, but idk of course...
what up man good drumming , awsome stick handle-ing lol if anything i was wondering of getting this set....some people say hitting the pads are loud like hiting wood or a hard cover textbook...is it really that loud...and if anything you think if i bough two lol could i put the pads and combine all into one like 1snare 2toms2floor toms 1hit hat and two symbals...all as moved around were the peices really go.lol how much was the double pedals btw? good video
yes, mos def. be careful with the bass pedal, the people on the floors under you might hear it. might want to find some way to dampen it. maybe put it on a piece of plywood so it does not contact the floor directly.
Hey man i have the same pad, its great right the only issues ive encountered is that the pads come loose pretty fast and the bass drum pad is too quit i just took a piece of cardboard and put it over it. this thing is fun as hell ill put a vid up soon
it's something to fill in a gap of silent beats, or as musicians call "RESTS". if you can learn more from listening, you should close your eyes every time you watch a drumming demo video.

@DrummerDrew1332 hey Drew, thank you, I really appreciate that.
In this vid i play basically paradiddles (RLRRLRLL) very fast and go around the kid.
There is no trick i think *lol*
practice this paradiddle and start with a tempo that feels comfortable for you.
and when it sounds good and clear, put the tempo higher and higher.
but keep in mind that it always should feel comfortable for you.
all the best, Dominik
