I have never understood the thing about Saab. Ok, they make not any bad cars but a the end of the day nobody makes bad cars at the price tags that they sell them. A Fiat at 10,000 euros is much more quality than a Saab at 35,000 euros for the very simple reason that on average no Saab is going to live 3,5 more than a Fiat.

And Saabs like Volvos made most of the times of the most ugly cars ever to have been produced.

Still I wish them good luck for the people who work there and their country.

Over here, in Northern Europe (Scandinavia, Germany, The Netherlands) build quality is everything. Fiat and other southern European and American brands does sell, but only because of the price. If you are in The Netherlands, you'll see many Volvo's. Ugly...People over here just think a well built car that lasts and lasts is beautiful. Don't forget winterweather is different here than in the south. 'My dad had an Alfa. Snow was deadly (salt on the road..). Besides..ugly? Ever heard of taste?

well thing is that was never for certain. hundreds of people were fired from the saab factories in trollhättan, and it seemed hopeless. however, koenigsegg seem to have quite some money to dispense into saab so hopefully it's all going to work out just fine.

Excellent gas mileage compared only to America's most popular cars yes, not really anything else. All other notes were quite correct. The 9-7X has to go, it really is totally useless as are most SUV's anyways. And everywhere else on the planet but the U.S. a 4-door saloon is not a "small car". Don't worry, you'll get used to it once americans get that they just can't put a V8 into every car. Unfortunate, but that's how the world turns.
