Hey Beck- We are all real glad that you still have faith in Bush. Obama actually wants to get Bin Laden. Bush had over 6 years to get it done. Sending a cruise missile into bin Laden's cave if we find it, even if Pakistan doesn't approve, isn't the same as an invasion. Misharif tried to use this "threat" to try to stay in power and it failed.
anyone who downvoted that comment is stupid. The bucket IS worth more than Obama because its useful, but the bucket doesnt refer to the shit as well, and the shit is the worst thing on there.
even though he said that i still agree because if the US is fighting a war agains terror it will basicly help the country itself witch the terrorist are located in.And the main reason to invade afganistan is because there where talliban worioirs active there so wouldn't it be fair that when there are taliban warriors active in pakistan that the US should respond to that?or should she not interfere just because pakistan is an ally(im sorry 4 the bad englisch)

i supported what i was saying. i supported facts with facts. support your vague assertions, like how iraq can handle al qaeuda on its own. support how leaving iraq would be good. refute what i have just posted. You lose.
you have some nerve telling me i have no expertise, assuming i am ignorant and dumb because of my age, and saying things i never said. I've out debated you, and frankly dont care about anything else you have to say. You're a moron
Look how many posts you've made. It is practically impossible to hold an argument when you are rambling. For future reference, you need to make your points concise considering the limitations of this format.
I have spent 15 years in the military with Special operations and 6 years of it in the Middle East. I can tell you are regurgitating propaganda put out by the current administration. There isnt enough space here to correct the over 30 posts you've made.
propaganda? you've got ot be kidding me. yes i know i rambled on a bit(perhaps the only thing ur right about), however i was just citing lots of evidence. you have no way to support your weak claims. it's not propaganda. Bush is right about many things,he dosnt put out propaganda. on the contrary, you probably buy into liberal propaganda and thats why you cant make an argument
"These terrorists are organized in active cells around the country with safe houses in neighboring Paraguay. An Argentinean document seen by G2 Bulletin describes part of the drug-smuggling trail, as well as that of weapons and people.
These elaborate trails run through a web of border crossings pointing also to the complex cooperation between various "smuggling experts." These belong to jihadi organizations such as al-Qaida, joining forces with local drug lords, developing and oiling their smuggling mechanism all the way to Mexico aiming ultimately to hit the U.S."
"Al-Quds Force is headquartered in the building that once used to house the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and where American diplomats were held captive for 444 days shortly after the Islamic revolution overthrew the Shah in 1979. It is from here, according to MeK sources, that al-Quds Force directs all its activities in Iraq.
This is why success in helping the Afghan and Iraqi peoples forge effective democracies is vital. We will continue to prevent terrorists from exploiting ungoverned or under-governed areas as safehavens -- secure spaces that allow our enemies to plan, organize, train, and prepare for operations. Ultimately, we will eliminate these havens altogether."
a good summary of what i have said- "Our terrorist enemies are striving to claim a strategic country as a haven for terror. From this base, they could destabilize the Middle East and strike America and other free nations with ever-increasing violence. This we can never allow. Our enemies had established a sanctuary in Afghanistan prior to Operation Enduring Freedom, and today terrorists see Iraq as the central front of their fight against the United States.
According to the Foreign Policy Research Institute, "But after 2001, when the U.S. destroyed the camps and housing and turned off the funding, bin Laden was left with little control. " "Camps and housing" is synonymous to a base.(base being a place of organization ; just so we are on the same page about what a base is). Clearly, disrupting a terrorist network's base/bases weakens the overall capacity to commit grand scale attacks.
"ULFA's membership is predominantly from the Assam region, specifically the northern districts. There are other insurgent groups that have a stronger membership base in the southern areas of Assam. ULFA has forged working relationships with some of the other insurgent groups in the region."
Hezbollah worked to undermine Israel by establishing a terrorist infrastructure inside Israel and in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip; smuggling weapons and terrorists across Israel's borders; and giving financial support to militant Palestinian organizations.
You have 14 years on me, and you make no sense. I would think someone at your age would have their wits about them, but obviously not. anyway i will give you tons of evidence since you clearly have no clue what you are talking about.
furthermore, allowing al qaeuda to take over an entire country would be extremely dangerous. if you vote for ron, hillary, or obama do so, however i wouldnt. if you come to the realization that i am right, i would vote for Guliani. he's pretty moderate-to-liberal on social issues and he would be a better president when it comes to foreign policy/fighting terrorism
Youre rambling. I looked at your age and understand why. Ignore my questions, please. For some reason you believe typing more makes your argument stronger. You just dont have the expertise to make your argument credible.
i had alot to say. i also wanted to get my point across but clearly you're an idiot. every major terrorist network needs a base, that is a cold fact. look it up on your own.
nothing you are saying is factual. i have no clue why you would tell me how many people there are in iraq and that they are not terrorists, i know this. what does this have to do with leaving iraq? how could we leave iraq based on the generic statement, "oh the iraqis wont tolerate it"?
if General Patreaus thought that the iraqis could handle the situation on their own, he would say so. it's not as simple as "oh the iraqis won't tolerate it" . even if the iraqis wanted to fight back, they dont have the capacity at the moment to do it. you're not being logical.
anyway, what does the difficulty of the mission in iraq have anything to do with what we are discussing. i never said they would subjugate to the terrorists, again you are saying things i never said and you are making irrelevant arguments.
in any case, "Working at a lakeside campground near his old Army post, McVeigh constructed an ANNM explosive device arranged in the back of a rented Ryder truck. The bomb consisted of about 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) of ammonium nitrate (an agricultural fertilizer) and nitromethane, an explosive motor-racing fuel."
an individual person doesnt necessarily need a base to commit a terrorist act, however a major reason why we have reduced islamic terrorism is because we have destabilized al queda. allowing al qaeuda to take over a weak Iraq allows them to stabilize.
leaving iraq is what al qaueda wants. letting them take over iraq would make it easier for them to attack us. everybody knows when a company/organization is centralized, it is more effective. same thing applies here
i made alot of sense here, i cant break it down for you any better. I'm pretty pessimistic about you understanding what i am saying, even though it makes sense. if i can make one person more logical, than i've helped the world become a better place.
So where was the Base that allowed Timothy McVeigh to launch his attack? Or any of the other terrorist attacks that have occured in the US?
You dont seem to understand that terrorism is a reaction to a perceived threat. A person doesnt wake up one day and decide to become a terrorist. Aslong as their are perceived threats, there will always be terrorism. It does not need Iraq to accomplish this.
there will always be terrorists, but their means to create attacks on us and other countries can be taken away by reducing their power. it doesnt need iraq to commit terrorist acts, however leaving iraq would create a heaven for terrorists, and would give them much more power than they do now
terrorism is more than an action to a perceived threat, and even though there will always be terrorists, we can reduce terrorism to a point in which it is ineffective/inconsequential. nobody said we were going to get rid of every villain on this planet.
there is no evidence to support the fact that the iraqi's can ward off these islamic terrorists on their own. the country isnt even stable yet, and so it is our duty to make sure this happens. the u.s. didnt take shape over night
you are running on the assumption that iraqis can handle the terrorists because they are against them, as i have said before. being against does not equate to being able to fight against
all major terrorist networks need a base to operate from. i cant understand why that doesnt make sense to you. you have to start looking at islamic terrorism as "many networks", not just individuals who commit terrorist acts.
you might argue that al qaeda is operating in other countries, so it doesnt matter if we stay in iraq. Well before you argue this, i'm just going to say that al qaeda , while have the means to operate in some regions, does not currently run an entire country. If we leave Iraq, this danger is inevitable. There is no evidence that the iraqi government/military are able to handle al qaeuda on their own yet, and we will stay in iraq until they are.
for al queda to be able to use their ideology and put it into action they DO NEED A BASE. why cant you understand that an al qaueda take over of iraq is more dangerous than just a bunch of terrorists dispersed?
Iraqis have over 27 million people who are not terrorist. Terrorism is not a form of government, and the Iraqis would not accept people who have been bombing their country to take over. Look how difficult it has been for us with the most powerful military in the world to control Iraq. This idea that the Iraqis would just subjugate to handful of terrorist is ridiculous.
i never said iraqis were terrorists! i didnt say terrorism was a form of government either! and your third sentence about iraqis not accepting people who have been bombing to take over their country is absurd! it's not a matter of accepting/not accepting it, it is a matter of preventing it. no one said this war would be easy, and the surge is actually working right now. we are making progress in iraq
looking at your comment closer,i dont understand why you mentioned the fact that there are 6.5 billion people in the world, because that has nothing to do with anything i am saying. anyway, you would have to elaborate on that sentence for it to make sense(not grammatically but so that if fits the context of the topic being discussed)
there can be many members of an organization who call themselves, "X", however if they dont have the capacity to put their ideas into action, thats more important than how many members there are. if you dont understand what i am saying, there is no point in me talking with you anymore
Terrorism is more than just an ideology, and i'm not just talking about one person. even if there were more islamic terrorists today than before 911, someone could still argue that terrorism has been reduced. the capacity for terrorists to attack us and others has been reduced, since we have weakened the system. Of course terrorists will exist whether we leave iraq or not, however making iraq more stable will make their efforts to attack us ineffective.
how can you be for fighting terrorism and against the war in iraq??????????????????????????? A stable iraq= a weaker al qaeuda. the iraqis cant handle al qaueda on their own yet, so why leave iraq open for terrorists so that they can rebuild and become stronger. MAKES NO SENSE. dont even try disputing this because i will ignore you.("you" refering to anyone who has the stupidity to go against what i just said). If you agree with this, it's just nice to know some people have common sense
This is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. A terrorist can be any individual who chooses to use violence against defenseless human beings. There are over 6.5 billion people in the world. Iraq plays no role in whether a person chooses to use terrorism or not. A state of mind doesnt need a base, just look at Timothy McVeigh.
yes, a terrorist can be any individual, however islamic terrorism would be strengthened if we left Iraq. If we left the country in it's present state, al queda would be able to rebuild and take over iraq.I dont like it when people attack me, and if this is the dumbest thing you ever heard, you must be pretty dumb.
But the difference in definitions of sound intelligence for Obama and Bush are crystal clear. And the whole point is that Bush can say that our allies don't have immunity to US invasion to find Bin Laden, but Obama stating the obvious and expected response to "sound intelligence on the terrorists" makes him a huge target.
i really want to help you think this out, honestly. i'm sorry for calling you dumb, even though you initiated the insulting. But lets look at this issue more and try to help you understand that for any organization, whether terrorist related or business related, needs a place to train, organize, and develop.
But why does Obama want to continue the War on Terror that he's been so critical of? Why does he want to redeploy troops to Afghanistan and Pakistan? Does he want to continue the war on terror indefinitely? I'm all for Obama's plan to get out of Iraq, but not at the expense of just sending our troops to tear apart other countries.
OBAMA is the ANSWER! He got the war in Iraq RIGHT! Opposes war in Iran. He is a Prof of Constitutional Law. A Civil Rts Atty. Educated at Columbia & Harvard Law. 11 yrs as a legislator in the State & US Senate. Sits on the Sen Commit on Homeland Security, Health Ed & labor, Vet Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Chairs US/European Affrs. Fights for Civil Liberties, Civil Rts, Pro the Constitution, fairness for the poor. NO American jobs going overseas. Will bring Peace 2 the World! OBAMA '08!
AHAHAH... nice vid man, it just shows how everybody thinks obama WILL CERTAINLY invade pakistan... and the reaction of other politicians about bush's answer six years ago... LOL uhmm... waaait. what answer...?! very nice, keep it up!
What a fucking stupid title. You are an idiot for posting that. That only. Don't hide your own racism, behind what happens in politics. Fucking idiot. Don't respond to me either, you have already expressed your fucking ignorance.
Obama will only hurt the U.S. economy. I read on his website today that he wants to withdraw troops from Iraq and focus on the broader region. That's what it says on his website! If the U.S. continues spending money occupying the Middle East, the currency will keep losing it's value and the "Federal Reserve" will continue to profit from the lives lost over there. Obama wants the oil, too. I'm bored with him now! NEXT!!!
The fact is they fear Obama so much so that they'll use anything he says to twist it and make him look bad. The media itself is so tied up in political bias that they don't even realize people are aware of what's goin on.
Bush's lies was a wake up call to the American people to get the facts.
Please! I beg you! Go to Barack's campaign website and read his ideas on foreign policy. Educate yourself. Don't you realize that his policy of foreign occupation and "the war on terror" will cost the U.s. money that they don't even have, and thus depreciate the value of the dollar????!?!? Please google the Federal Reserve. I am nauseated by the American's ignorance of this fallacy.
I'm voting for Ron Paul, but I can respect someone voting for Senator Obama. Just don't vote for Hillary nor Romney. Research your candidates and see who voted for going to war with Iraq without a declartion from Congress. Neither Dr. Paul nor Obama did, so that's why I respect both. But, that's just my opinion. Peace.
It's amazing to me that Hillary, Romney and this news commentator can throw stones! They voted/supported this war, had had the information that it was all a lie. Naive may not be the word, cowards and whimps would be more appropriate for co-signing this war fromt he beginning. Barack had the same information they had. Romney is a republican so he supports imperialism, hillary, voted politically
You act liek that matters...I know a whole lot of idiots thats been doing the same thing for years and still dont know what they are doing. The point of this election is leadership, morals and ethics and political administration change that reflects these virtues.... Now when I vote, when we all vote thats what we need to be looking for in a President...cause if we are not careful we will get another president that is willing to sacrifice "us" again/next time it may be you
furthermore, the Bush Administration has done nothing to harm the constitution (which you liberals and Bush-Bashers always claim). Is he taking away your free speech? your right to bear arms? anything else? nope, don't think so buddy.
The Military Commissions Act of 2006 = Loss of Habeas Corpus. Look it up at your leisure. I assume you consider yourself a patriot. Please read Article 1 sec 9 of the Constitution. Then Read The Military Comissons Act of 2006. It gives the President the right to suspend Habeas Corpus. As well as the Geneva Convention.
LOL you want to give the terrorists the same rights as American citizens? that's some funny shit, cuz guess what buddy? if they captured you in Iraq, they would chop your fucking head off. You wouldn't get a trial with a jury of peers, not even close. They are damn lucky we even let them LIVE after they try to kill us.
Ok just read it. Talks about the torture techniques, habeous corpus and so on, blah blah. Look, you gotta do what you gotta do to get information out of these people. If they would just cooperate with us, it would make their lives easier. We are pissed off to begin with and they just push our buttons. Like I said, they would kill us in a heartbeat if they had the chance, we would never get a fair trial or any kind of humane treatment.
lol, don't go spouting off that shit about people who are liberals hate america, fuckin bringing that "either or" fallacy bullshit in this,. "oh you don't support our troops?!? then your not for america" fuck that, i love america, but i'm not about to compensate my beliefs over a war that Bush snaked his way into. I mean shit, he changed his platform from searching for these "WMD's" to "liberating the people of Iraq" fuck this administration, Obama '08!
Liberals hate America, what. Have you lost your mind. All liberals want is personal freedom , a lack of evil in our government (as in goodwill to all) and change. I guess you oppose change because our constitution was built on change.. oh well you pro-American, anti-constitution idiot/hypocrite.
"Liberals hate America, what. Have you lost your mind. All liberals want is personal freedom , a lack of evil in our government (as in goodwill to all) and change. I guess you oppose change because our constitution was built on change.. oh well you pro-American, anti-constitution idiot/hypocrite"
Yeah it's the liberals that don't want to protect America from terrorism, I'd say that she be our first concern as a country living in a post-911 world. I strongly support the constitution.
united pakistan -> Im glad someone is taking a stand, your countries national issues are its own issues. No nation has the right to interfere with anothers policies and laws. Not even the ol US of A
Unfortunately politics is a dirty business. If a candidate is going to play the game, they have to be prepared to take a lot of hits. There are 8 democrats running. Only one is going to get the nomination. There will be 7 "losers". At least six of those "losers" will be non-African Americans.
FJF.. You are doing RP no justice. Your tactics are lame.. It does nothing but turn people off from RP.. I'm not going to register as a repub and give Hillary the nomination. use your time on the repubs. not us. we've got our own work to do.
Great video. Notice how all the idiots attacking Obama for these comments conveniently avoid talking about the issue. AQ has had a safe haven in Pakistan for years, and no one wants to talk about it except for Obama.
Wrong. The Pakistani government signed a peace accord with tribal leaders on the Pakistani side of the border harboring both the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Please do some research of your own.
I am a Pakistani and I have been to these area's and studied the tribal system. In fact, I have even wrote a policy paper on the isssue. The fact is that these tribal elders are NOT THE TALIBAN NOR ARE THEY Al Qaeda. Eitherway this is a Pakistani internal issue and the US has no right to tell us how to solve our problems. The US will leave the region but Pakistan will have to stay and face the consequences of her actions.
Yes the US does, Al-Qaeda attacked the US and the US has the right to get them just if the KKK attacked Pakistan in it's own borders. Pakistan could go after them. Not really in a military way but work a long side the US to stop them.
Hillary responded by saying that it was not appropriate to say what a candidate REALLY thinks about issues. Huh! Do you think that she worth a vote? She sounds more like more of the Bush Administration to me. Despite many of the other Democratic candidates who tried to pounce Senator Obama, Obama came back STRONG in his response. It further solidified my belief that he will be the next president. He has my vote!
Both Hillary and Mitt are typicial politicians playing pandering games and avoiding real thoughtful resolve about real issues but relying on soundbites and media hype to redirect focus. Barrack is right about this one. And the difference is he would really do it where as Bush surely will not because that would mean an end to the '9/11-be afraid' tactic he's used to ramrod his agenda.
obama is inexperienced. How do we know Osama is in pakistan? he could be anywhere? if we sneeks into russia or china, then will obama invade russia or china?
You Ron Paul people are like ambulance chasers. You go everywhere you know Obama is going to be to promote yourselves. I don't see Obama doing it on Ron Paul sites. Back off and run your own campaign! I would have liked Paul but you people make him look like a slime ball.
My point is - Your efforts to support RP should be in vids for Repubs. Dems can't vote in the Repub primary. Get your guy the nomination first. Then spam obama vids when he gets the nomination. You're kinda wasting key strokes right now.
Obama enforcing the will of the people? Maybe the will of the uninformed. The only thing different about Obama is the fact that he wants to send the troops to a different country, no real different. Now, Ron Paul, he truly cares and is a candidate worth YouTubing...not the same old stuff this guy portrays. May you awaken!
Governor Mitt Romney is a RINO. He supports stringent gun laws. His Health care overhaul pales in comparison to the atrocity of Obamacare, but it was similar. He has never expressed public regret for this. He told Michigan residents at an event there that the financial services bailout was absolutely necessary. even though he said that i still agree because if the US is fighting a war agains terror it will basicly help the country itself witch the terrorist are located in.And the main reason to invade afganistan is because there where talliban worioirs active there so wouldn't it be fair that when there are taliban warriors active in pakistan that the US should respond to that?or should she not interfere just because pakistan is an ally(im sorry 4 the bad englisch)

i hope your performance in the military was better than the level of intelligence you've displayed here. you're like talking to a wall. we're done.

i supported what i was saying. i supported facts with facts. support your vague assertions, like how iraq can handle al qaeuda on its own. support how leaving iraq would be good. refute what i have just posted. You lose.
jhk1987 4 years ago
you have some nerve telling me i have no expertise, assuming i am ignorant and dumb because of my age, and saying things i never said. I've out debated you, and frankly dont care about anything else you have to say. You're a moron
jhk1987 4 years ago
Look how many posts you've made. It is practically impossible to hold an argument when you are rambling. For future reference, you need to make your points concise considering the limitations of this format.
I have spent 15 years in the military with Special operations and 6 years of it in the Middle East. I can tell you are regurgitating propaganda put out by the current administration. There isnt enough space here to correct the over 30 posts you've made.
Spectre11B 4 years ago
propaganda? you've got ot be kidding me. yes i know i rambled on a bit(perhaps the only thing ur right about), however i was just citing lots of evidence. you have no way to support your weak claims. it's not propaganda. Bush is right about many things,he dosnt put out propaganda. on the contrary, you probably buy into liberal propaganda and thats why you cant make an argument

"These terrorists are organized in active cells around the country with safe houses in neighboring Paraguay. An Argentinean document seen by G2 Bulletin describes part of the drug-smuggling trail, as well as that of weapons and people.
jhk1987 4 years ago

Ultimately, we will eliminate these havens altogether."
jhk1987 4 years ago
a good summary of what i have said- "Our terrorist enemies are striving to claim a strategic country as a haven for terror. From this base, they could destabilize the Middle East and strike America and other free nations with ever-increasing violence. This we can never allow. Our enemies had established a sanctuary in Afghanistan prior to Operation Enduring Freedom, and today terrorists see Iraq as the central front of their fight against the United States.
jhk1987 4 years ago
According to the Foreign Policy Research Institute, "But after 2001, when the U.S. destroyed the camps and housing and turned off the funding, bin Laden was left with little control. " "Camps and housing" is synonymous to a base.(base being a place of organization ; just so we are on the same page about what a base is). Clearly, disrupting a terrorist network's base/bases weakens the overall capacity to commit grand scale attacks.

You have 14 years on me, and you make no sense. I would think someone at your age would have their wits about them, but obviously not. anyway i will give you tons of evidence since you clearly have no clue what you are talking about.
jhk1987 4 years ago
i did ramble a bit, i'll give you that. however, i bet you didnt even read anything i said.
jhk1987 4 years ago
you make no sense wut so ever. what makes you think any terrorist network is any different than al qaueda in terms of what i said about having a base
jhk1987 4 years ago
furthermore, allowing al qaeuda to take over an entire country would be extremely dangerous. if you vote for ron, hillary, or obama do so, however i wouldnt. if you come to the realization that i am right, i would vote for Guliani. he's pretty moderate-to-liberal on social issues and he would be a better president when it comes to foreign policy/fighting terrorism
jhk1987 4 years ago
Youre rambling. I looked at your age and understand why. Ignore my questions, please. For some reason you believe typing more makes your argument stronger. You just dont have the expertise to make your argument credible.
Spectre11B 4 years ago
lol, again you say things i never said nor believe. my arguments make sense, you're a waste of my time.
jhk1987 4 years ago
i had alot to say. i also wanted to get my point across but clearly you're an idiot. every major terrorist network needs a base, that is a cold fact. look it up on your own.
jhk1987 4 years ago
nothing you are saying is factual. i have no clue why you would tell me how many people there are in iraq and that they are not terrorists, i know this. what does this have to do with leaving iraq? how could we leave iraq based on the generic statement, "oh the iraqis wont tolerate it"?
jhk1987 4 years ago
if General Patreaus thought that the iraqis could handle the situation on their own, he would say so. it's not as simple as "oh the iraqis won't tolerate it" . even if the iraqis wanted to fight back, they dont have the capacity at the moment to do it. you're not being logical.
jhk1987 4 years ago
you are completely wrong about this
jhk1987 4 years ago
anyway, what does the difficulty of the mission in iraq have anything to do with what we are discussing. i never said they would subjugate to the terrorists, again you are saying things i never said and you are making irrelevant arguments.
jhk1987 4 years ago
in any case, "Working at a lakeside campground near his old Army post, McVeigh constructed an ANNM explosive device arranged in the back of a rented Ryder truck. The bomb consisted of about 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) of ammonium nitrate (an agricultural fertilizer) and nitromethane, an explosive motor-racing fuel."
jhk1987 4 years ago
an individual person doesnt necessarily need a base to commit a terrorist act, however a major reason why we have reduced islamic terrorism is because we have destabilized al queda. allowing al qaeuda to take over a weak Iraq allows them to stabilize.
jhk1987 4 years ago
leaving iraq is what al qaueda wants. letting them take over iraq would make it easier for them to attack us. everybody knows when a company/organization is centralized, it is more effective. same thing applies here
jhk1987 4 years ago
i made alot of sense here, i cant break it down for you any better. I'm pretty pessimistic about you understanding what i am saying, even though it makes sense. if i can make one person more logical, than i've helped the world become a better place.
jhk1987 4 years ago
So where was the Base that allowed Timothy McVeigh to launch his attack? Or any of the other terrorist attacks that have occured in the US?
You dont seem to understand that terrorism is a reaction to a perceived threat. A person doesnt wake up one day and decide to become a terrorist. Aslong as their are perceived threats, there will always be terrorism. It does not need Iraq to accomplish this.
Spectre11B 4 years ago
there will always be terrorists, but their means to create attacks on us and other countries can be taken away by reducing their power. it doesnt need iraq to commit terrorist acts, however leaving iraq would create a heaven for terrorists, and would give them much more power than they do now
jhk1987 4 years ago
terrorism is more than an action to a perceived threat, and even though there will always be terrorists, we can reduce terrorism to a point in which it is ineffective/inconsequential. nobody said we were going to get rid of every villain on this planet.
jhk1987 4 years ago
there is no evidence to support the fact that the iraqi's can ward off these islamic terrorists on their own. the country isnt even stable yet, and so it is our duty to make sure this happens. the u.s. didnt take shape over night
jhk1987 4 years ago
you are running on the assumption that iraqis can handle the terrorists because they are against them, as i have said before. being against does not equate to being able to fight against
jhk1987 4 years ago
all major terrorist networks need a base to operate from. i cant understand why that doesnt make sense to you. you have to start looking at islamic terrorism as "many networks", not just individuals who commit terrorist acts.
jhk1987 4 years ago
Name a terrorist base (excluding Al queda)that supports your argument of a multi-network system.
And what is your area of expertise to back up any of the information that you claim to be true. Please dont tell me, I read it on the internet.
Spectre11B 4 years ago
my mom is liberal, she is considering guliani. you should to. but something tells me you will be voting for a pathetic candidate.
jhk1987 4 years ago
you might argue that al qaeda is operating in other countries, so it doesnt matter if we stay in iraq. Well before you argue this, i'm just going to say that al qaeda , while have the means to operate in some regions, does not currently run an entire country. If we leave Iraq, this danger is inevitable. There is no evidence that the iraqi government/military are able to handle al qaeuda on their own yet, and we will stay in iraq until they are.
jhk1987 4 years ago
for al queda to be able to use their ideology and put it into action they DO NEED A BASE. why cant you understand that an al qaueda take over of iraq is more dangerous than just a bunch of terrorists dispersed?
jhk1987 4 years ago
Iraqis have over 27 million people who are not terrorist. Terrorism is not a form of government, and the Iraqis would not accept people who have been bombing their country to take over. Look how difficult it has been for us with the most powerful military in the world to control Iraq. This idea that the Iraqis would just subjugate to handful of terrorist is ridiculous.
Spectre11B 4 years ago
i never said iraqis were terrorists! i didnt say terrorism was a form of government either! and your third sentence about iraqis not accepting people who have been bombing to take over their country is absurd! it's not a matter of accepting/not accepting it, it is a matter of preventing it. no one said this war would be easy, and the surge is actually working right now. we are making progress in iraq
jhk1987 4 years ago
looking at your comment closer,i dont understand why you mentioned the fact that there are 6.5 billion people in the world, because that has nothing to do with anything i am saying. anyway, you would have to elaborate on that sentence for it to make sense(not grammatically but so that if fits the context of the topic being discussed)
jhk1987 4 years ago
there can be many members of an organization who call themselves, "X", however if they dont have the capacity to put their ideas into action, thats more important than how many members there are. if you dont understand what i am saying, there is no point in me talking with you anymore
jhk1987 4 years ago
Terrorism is more than just an ideology, and i'm not just talking about one person. even if there were more islamic terrorists today than before 911, someone could still argue that terrorism has been reduced. the capacity for terrorists to attack us and others has been reduced, since we have weakened the system. Of course terrorists will exist whether we leave iraq or not, however making iraq more stable will make their efforts to attack us ineffective.
jhk1987 4 years ago
how can you be for fighting terrorism and against the war in iraq??????????????????????????? A stable iraq= a weaker al qaeuda. the iraqis cant handle al qaueda on their own yet, so why leave iraq open for terrorists so that they can rebuild and become stronger. MAKES NO SENSE. dont even try disputing this because i will ignore you.("you" refering to anyone who has the stupidity to go against what i just said). If you agree with this, it's just nice to know some people have common sense
jhk1987 4 years ago
This is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. A terrorist can be any individual who chooses to use violence against defenseless human beings. There are over 6.5 billion people in the world. Iraq plays no role in whether a person chooses to use terrorism or not. A state of mind doesnt need a base, just look at Timothy McVeigh.
Spectre11B 4 years ago
yes, a terrorist can be any individual, however islamic terrorism would be strengthened if we left Iraq. If we left the country in it's present state, al queda would be able to rebuild and take over iraq.I dont like it when people attack me, and if this is the dumbest thing you ever heard, you must be pretty dumb.

But the difference in definitions of sound intelligence for Obama and Bush are crystal clear. And the whole point is that Bush can say that our allies don't have immunity to US invasion to find Bin Laden, but Obama stating the obvious and expected response to "sound intelligence on the terrorists" makes him a huge target.
constantinacrespicci 4 years ago
i really want to help you think this out, honestly. i'm sorry for calling you dumb, even though you initiated the insulting. But lets look at this issue more and try to help you understand that for any organization, whether terrorist related or business related, needs a place to train, organize, and develop.

NEXT!!!

Please!

Wrong. The Pakistani government signed a peace accord with tribal leaders on the Pakistani side of the border harboring both the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Please do some research of your own.
Cruz1987 4 years ago
I am a Pakistani and I have been to these area's and studied the tribal system. In fact, I have even wrote a policy paper on the isssue. The fact is that these tribal elders are NOT THE TALIBAN NOR ARE THEY Al Qaeda. Eitherway this is a Pakistani internal issue and the US has no right to tell us how to solve our problems. The US will leave the region but Pakistan will have to stay and face the consequences of her actions.
UnitedPakistan 4 years ago
Yes the US does, Al-Qaeda attacked the US and the US has the right to get them just if the KKK attacked Pakistan in it's own borders. Pakistan could go after them. Not really in a military way but work a long side the US to stop them.

Hillary responded by saying that it was not appropriate to say what a candidate REALLY thinks about issues. Huh! Do you think that she worth a vote? It further solidified my belief that he will be the next president. He has my vote!

Both Hillary and Mitt are typicial politicians playing pandering games and avoiding real thoughtful resolve about real issues but relying on soundbites and media hype to redirect focus. Barrack is right about this one.
