Hi, i have Tom Tom Satnav Go 910, can i just copy and make use of the file  of the western Europe map and place it on a mobile phone that supports GPS or on an SD micro card of the phone it self?

Another thing is i have sd card in my car built in GPS by Harman Becker cant that be done too? i only need this on a mobile phone as i drive HGV lorries and i sort of need this as spare in case my GPS fails one day. Cheers,NB

Well I would personally spend my money on something that's actually useful. Why?

When you get a phone call:

1. start ripping off the tapes,

2. cancel navigation,

3. answer the call,

(4.propably get lost during a long phone call,)

5. try reset the navigation and destination while driving

6. Reapply the tapes while driving or get parked (if you're not in the middle of the highway)

7. Then comes another phone call or some messages.. :)

Sounds really useful and worth a lot of money indeed :D

Hi this app uses the iphones built in GPS for the map to work. And uses the 3g for the live traffic info and live updates.

However the gps in the iPhone 3g is kind of spotty. I only recommend this app for 3gs users

@a7chemist. Correction. Iphone DOES NOT have built in GPS. NO integrated GPS. Instead it uses Assisted GPS through internet and google map which has approx. 100 meters difference than your actual location. You can get a tomtom software downloaded but you pay monthly fee through your carrier network. Iphone doesnt have memory card expansion unlike N97 which you can get up to 64GB (32 built in and 32 san disk). As of Video and photo I vote for N97 with its clear HD DVD like format. N97 rocks.
