I can't believe that those thug Agents violated that poor dog's civil rights and detaining it from its freedom of movement. Actually I can't believe that some left-wing jackass hasn't said something along those lines. Or how it was a waste of tax dollars and/or man-power. That being said: GREAT JOB Border Patrol Agents. Go team green!
Siempre tiene que haber gente frígida que no les guste estos hermosos rescates, por ejemplo a los dos usuarios que no les gusta. A mi me encantó. ¡Pulgar arriba! Ah, una vez sacado del agua helada, podrían haberlo levandado de a dos...

Does anyone know if the owners of the dog were found? We are searching for a Great Pyrenees who has been missing for 6 months and could be anywhere in the US (or Canada) by now.
@lburcher Well hard to say most dogs can find their way home cause dogs pee to mark so they can smell their way back but if hurt they may become lost and if stolen they obviously can't so it is hard to say cause dogs usually do not roam try the classifieds web sites.
This is a side of the Border Patrol that NEEDS to be seen, there are agents like this throughout the patrol and they NEVER get recognition for their acts of kindness!
News Flash! US Border Patrol nabs French national crossing over border from Canada!
OK, just kidding. What an amazing rescue! The dog in the video is a Great Pyrenees (originated from French side of Pyrenees Mountains). My Pyr just got an extra big hug this morning after watching this.
@PhotoJKyleGrantham The Border Patrol doesn't deal with you when you cross the border, unless you're jumping into the states illegally. You are thinking of Customs and Border Protection Officers.
I am a 30 year Langley resident and I know that when ur at the border you can always go to the settings in your cell phone and chose to lock it to home network to prevent it from roaming on an American network, likewise the opposite os possible, I'd've locked it to AT&T & then call 911, that way you get Washinton's 911, not British Columbia's 911, who cares about the roaming charges on your bill. ;)
Hi Folks - when did this take place? Did it happen on Nov. 21 or another day. We'll do a story on it. What a great story and super video. We will link back your page.
I honestly think if I were the RCMP officer I'd risk my job by breaking international waters rather than wait for the US guys to show up. But that is just me.
Great job for rescuing the dog...KUDOS to you guys!

@lburcher The owner came at the very end of the rescue and took the dog inside to warm it up.

@PhotoJKyleGrantham: That's actually Customs, not Border Patrol.

@matt15161718 Actually, it is US Border Patrol. Customs Officers wear blue, Border Patrol wears green.
